Then I looked at the clock and started mumbling about being late. Then I got up and ran out the door as if I were on fire. It was time for part two in my plan. to accidentally get caught by the real Spider- Man. I hope he likes the mask behind the mask when he catches the impersonator.
Don't You Take a Peek
Although I had to get caught tomorrow I had to get home. I knew that I could have asked my dad for money but I wanted to see if I could make it completely on my own first. So, where was I living? On a coach in a hotel basement, unfortunately I couldnβt get in there until twelve at night. This gave me ten hours for homework and whatever else I had to do and exactly six hours to sleep.
Today though I knew I could not get in because it was cleaning day. I already learned that once a month they had to clean the basement and once a month someone came to inspect it.
You canβt live in the park; you would get arrested before you spent ten hours there. Luckily I did not need ten hours. I knew though that caution is key. If you asked spider-man that, he would agree. Now why do I say that? Well, he was following me and I noticed right away. Those thorns popped in and out just to warn me I was being followed, because I knew that I was not in trouble.
After school I went to the library to do my homework, then to the store to buy some food, and then to all my jobs. Which in order were babysitter, dog walker, waitress and then safety trainer. After all that I finally went to the park. Now Iβm sure it looked strange to Spiderman that a girl who had just been paid about three hundred dollars was sleeping in the park. Well, the truth was I wasnβt sure where I wanted to live and if I picked a place then Iβd have to live there. Once you live somewhere though, it is pretty hard to run away.
I laid down a blue blanket in the grass and sat down. I then took out a good book to read and I was on chapter ten when I noticed my thorns going in and out again. I looked around to see what caused it. That was when a man carrying a gun ran into the park.
