poor way to describe the boy. He had deep blue eyes that contrasted well with his choppy blonde hair. He was perhaps the most perfect looking person he had ever seen. Then the whole family smiled.
βMy god,β Denver breathed.
ALEC HARRISON @ the Harrison residence
Alec had only been sitting outside for ten minutes when he decided that perhaps fresh air wasnβt so good for him after all. The whole day he had forgone everything. He ditched a game of chess with Emilie, he skipped practicing piano, and ultimately when the decision was made that some fresh air would be nice, Alec thought this was the total remedy. Until now.
The dark-haired boy had been instructed to eat a decent meal by Dr. Harrison, and so he did as he was told and ate a whopping omelet, crumbs and all.
Next he was instructed to go take a shower because he had stunk. Likewise, he marched upstairs and was taking a shower at this moment. And for some reason the time was killing Alec. Who was this person? If they didnβt know him, would they have to keep him? Were βFoundβ posters stapled across the neighborhood necessary? Millions of questions racked through Alecβs mind. A knock sounded on the wall next to him.
βIsβ¦ Dr. Harrison around?β asked the dark-haired boy, βI need to know where to put this towel.β Alec jumped up from his chair. The dark-haired boy turned pale.
βDr. Harrison is out at work right now. If you want Iβll take it for you.β The dark-haired boy quickly handed him the towel and looked around nervously, darting his eyes as if to avoid Alecβs.
βYea, Iβ¦ should probably get back home now,β the dark-haired boy muttered. He stuffed his hands in his jean pockets.
βSure,β replied Alec, βhey umβ¦ how do you know my dadβs name?β
βOh, you noticed that, huh? My dad works with yoursβ¦ Iβm Denver Barry.β
