Dear Diary
Im not going to give up, i have come too far just to give up all my hard work. Tucker got lost again, but do not worry i found him. I bought him some new clothes, a raincoat, a robe, a winter jacket, and three shirts. He really likes them, and so do I. Anyways, I hope my birth parents are looking for me. I just found out that there is a mother who said she gave away her daughter as a baby, and is now looking for her!
Oh my, im so exited!!!!! what if that is my mom! Wait, what if it isn't and if it is, will she like me or accept me? Im too exited to think. Wait, man i just found out she was related to me. I wish i would find her. One of the center workers is very nice, the teacher. It seems like i have known her forever. She is nice and kind and has a very nice husband. She gives out toys to everyone at the end of the day. She likes me most of all, and I like her too, she is nice. Well, i am learning a lot at the center, and I might actually learn what love is soon. I am studying my book REAL HARD, I want to find out soon so i can finally fulfill one of my dreams! Tucker likes her too, her name is Mrs.Carson, my last name is Nilly, because my adopted parents last name was Nilly. Her first name is Hazel, pretty name. I like my name too, it is Kaleigh. She has hazel eyes, me too. Her eyes are lighter though, in a pretty way.

January 13th, 2001
Dear Diary,
It is my birthday today and Mrs.Carson said she has a surprise for me. I can't wait, she said she needed to see tucker too. So she is borrowing him and Cuddles till my birthday party is in process.

2 hours later

I can't believe it, Tucker and Cuddles are so cute. Tucker has the cutest puppy sized birthday hat on, and different colored fur. The colors are my favorite, blue, pink, lime green, and neon orange. She said it washes off with oatmeal shampoo, don't be grossed out, it is normal. Cuddles is repaired and has the cutest new bear clothes, with a party hat too. I guess this is the surprise. People are setting up the gifts, i do not care about them i just like the cake, and the fun, oh and the people who like me. Mrs.Carson brought Mr.Carson to my birthday party. Im happy she did. My cake is so cute, Mrs.Carson made it herself.
Everyone sang happy birthday to me. My favorite gift is, Mrs.Carson's and Mr.Carson's, yet they say they have another...
I thought being spoiled was bad...
Anyways im so anxious to see it, yet it has been like 3 hours and everyone is gone. They finally said they were going to give me the present. I followed them into Mrs.Carson's classroom. I didn't see anything and they just stared at me.
Tucker nudged me up to the table and I smiled. They hugged me and whispered, happy birthday daughter. I was in such shock as they said daughter. I hugged them tightly as Tucker nudged his way in and Mrs, I mean mom, picked him up and resumed hugging. I was took home by my birth parents and finally understood love. Love is a gift, given by those who truly care about you. Never underestimate the true importatness of love. Some people are not lucky enough to get the chance to experience love.
