Amorous by Ameera Butt (most important books of all time TXT) 📕
Excerpt from the book:
Its quite hard to move on in life when there's so much your leaving behind trying to move on. When a passage in life shuts down completely you can only assume how depressing life could be, but is that the conclusion to it? I found someone who had changed my life, I was not the same anymore. Comparing me to the past few months I was different now. At times it was hard to know if what was happening was in real or was it a game of fantasy. I can’t say much about my life, but when I met him everything had become so adventurous. He made me who I am...

wanted to reveal so badly. I caught my breath back and walked ahead seeing firstly what I was surrounded by gorgeous purple and blue shaded flowers. There was all size, small and big, beautifully shaped, like if they were on display. It combined so well with the fresh green short grass. There were no animals there; well I didn’t seem to see any there anyways, so I assume they aren’t any here. The only sort I heard was birds. Beside even if there were any, they would ruin the place so I was glad on that fact.
As I walked a long from not so far distance trees started fading in the view. Great tall bushed fresh trees, the smell it contained was so fresh. I was surprised on that because the place seemed very old from the outside. I walked around analysing this ‘fantasy’; it was just what I dreamed of when I would find a special place. It was just so gorgeous, I really couldn’t of think of other words in this moment, and I swear I was going to get emotional. Just when I thought I had enough of the attractive shaded flowers, the fresh mint grass and trees, the elegant sound of the birds chirping, the whole scenery itself and the beautiful purple water fountain but there was that one more attraction left. An exquisite swing. A swing with a mixture of different shades of purple, similar to the flowers and a drop of light blue on every corner, tied with metal chain attached to a strong tree it sat in position. It amazed me what I had just seen. I was in a fantasy right? Places like this couldn’t actually exist right? It was a speechless place.
I could go on and on about this wonderful place, but maybe not even those words would properly give a description of what I was seeing. It was like a page out of a fairy tale, quite typical really. It was perfect! Perfection described it well in a way, maybe there were more to the description but perfection was one of those words for sure! Randomly I had turned extremely hyper, so out of the blue. I started jumping around, skipping my way through places. Rupert just walked behind me with his hands shut into his pockets and a big smile on his face. He was sort of amused by my happiness.
“So?” He asked expressing tenderness.
“It’s…” I stopped myself from talking for a minute; I really didn’t know what to say. Shocking! I would never shut up, I always talked. After a moment of thought I grinned and replied back to him saying, “It makes me speechless, do you I need to say more?”
“Ha, you don’t need to say anything; I understand your face expressions very well.”
“Its beautiful, how did you find such place Rupert?”
“Just did Ameesha.”
“So the place just randomly appeared here?”
“No. Not really, you see I was very busy during my Christmas holidays doing certain stuff…”
I gave a strong glare at him realised what I just found out. I starred into him for some time as he stood there seeming very shy, with his gentle eyes looking down at the floor as his hands remained in the pocket.
“Y-y-you did this?” I asked suspiciously.
“I got some help from Lupe, just with the fountain and the swing.”
“How did you create such beauty in a few weeks Rupert? This couldn’t have been you!”
“Well, it was already half built when I found this place and realistically it was really pretty before hand. I just put the fountain and swing in to fit it in.”
“How did you find it?”
“Well my friend lives towards the back side of this building and I was playing football with him. We were kicking the ball around whilst walking to his house through the ally and it fell near by.”
“And a magic door randomly appeared?” I interrupted.
“No I saw a metal chain that got me curious to what it was attached to and when I pulled it a door opened out to it. I didn’t want anyone to see it, so I just told my friend that I had to go home because Lupe needed my help in something.”
“Did your pants go on fire for lying then?” I joked to him.
“Ha, no! I came back to the place and looked around it seemed like a perfect place, just needed to make it perfect. Only a few perfections that all!”
“And you built all that in the few weeks we had off?”
“Yu-huh. You like it?” he looked up at me and looked nervous. I had paused for a moment deliberately just to get him all nervous and to get him all teased up.
“Well you see it’s. Hm, how shall I say this?” I looked at him seeing a tension on his pale face. “It’s the best place I have ever visited in my life and I wish I could own such place. It’s too pretty to be left, I adore this place Rupert. It’s simply pure and beauty. Its perfection has no limits!” as I replied to him and huge smile appeared on his bright face and I turned around to see the scenery.
He appeared to come close up right behind me, I could almost hear his heart beat as he wrapped his long arms slowly around my waist he whispered in my ear “So what do you want to call your place?”
“M-my, my place?” I was ridiculously confused.
“Well of course who else’s is it going to be? It’s contrasted just for Ameesha.”
“Well you daft boy, this can’t just be mine all alone. Too much responsibilities!”
“What are you suggesting Ameesha?” he looked so baffled.
“Well, it’s our place not just mine Rupert.”
“Our?”
“Yes, ours!”
“What do you want to name it?”
“Suggestions?”
“Maheera? What a beautiful name! Let’s call it that.”
“Maheera? “ I was confused on that suggestion
“Maheera? That sounds like a kid’s name! I will call my kid that.”
“No, What? That was my idea!”
“Well we both can call our kid that?” I suggested.
“Hmpff! Sure. Well, we still need a name!”
“How about amorous? But not the other meaning to it, I mean just the love meaning to it…”
“Amorous! Love? That’s perfect! It suits this place. Amorous it is then!” Rupert spoke out in conclusion.
It was know five o’clock as I looked to my watch. “Oh my, is that the time Rupert?”
“I’m afraid so Ameesha.”
“Well, I need to get home. My mother will go bizarre!”
“Ha, okay let’s go then. Want to bus it or shall we just walk it?”
“I really don’t care as long as I’m home with in fifteen minutes!”
“Well in that case…” he took his phone out and dialled a number. “Yep, I need to get here now! Okay I will wait outside by the gates with Ameesha.” he got his phone and popped it back into his side pocket and gave a smile.
“Who was that?”
“Lupe.”
“Lupe? He’s here as well?”
“No silly, he going to come to collect us.”
“We could of just walked alone nothing would of happened scary cat!”
“You are a muffin aren’t you?” I didn’t reply. Was that mean to be a rhetorical question? “He can drive now remember?”
“Oh, oh yes. My bad” I expressed with embarrassment.
“Well we better go and wait outside. Lets exit from the back college will be shut by now.” we walked out from the ally way as he showed me how to get in and out of the place. I didn’t really want to leave the place nor go home. I loved it there it was much calmer and relaxed.
“Can’t we just stay five more minutes?” I asked politely.
“No, Ameesha you’re already late home. You’re going to get into serious trouble!” He held onto me and walked close to me up to Lupe’s car and opened the door out for me.
“Heya Amsh!” he yelled. I gave him an awkward look at what he just called me. “What? So your other friends can call you that and I can’t?”
“Sure you can. Just the first time I heard you call me that.”
“Come on drive on Lupe!” Rupert ordered.
“Yes Sir.” Lupe replied.
Reaching home I said my goodbyes and pulled myself out of the car. God, here goes mothers lecture! “Talk to you later.” Rupert said as Lupe drove of. I walked to my door and rang the bell. I could hear loud footsteps approaching me as the door opened on me. It was my father standing there with anger. As I stepped into my house I could hear his breath taking over mine.
“Exactly where have you been?” he asked angrily.
“Well, I had after college activities.” I excused.
“And exactly what was this activity?”
“Art work?” trying to sound convincing.
“Oh, well in that case okay. But next time ring home, we all were sick worried!”
I turned around and ran to my room so happy! I reached to my bed and changed out of my college clothes to something cosy and my phone rang. Rupert I read of the small screen!
“Yello!” I answered in enthusiasm.
“You weren’t in trouble right? Got you home in time, yes?”
“Yep, perfect time my gorgeous perfection!”
“Ha, good. So what you doing?”
“Nothing, just going to listen to music really. Yourself?”
“Nothing.” he seemed so dead.
“What’s up?”
“Ameesha, you haven’t talked to anyone you don’t really know recently have you?” he was so inquisitive.
“No?” I thought and replied, mainly asking myself that questions.
“Are you sure Ameesha?”
“Y-yeah.”
“Please try to remember! Are you positive you didn’t talk to any random boy?”
“YES! I am hundred percent sure. Why you asking anyways?”
“Oh, well in that case no worries. So what’s my girl doing?” he said in a big relief.
“Music!”
“Well, i will chat to you later bye for now!” he disconnected the phone before I could respond and I went on singing along with my song as I check what was going on online as I got a random message from a stranger...
‘Hello, I’ve seen you around in college and you seem really awesome. I would like to be friends with you and get to know you. Could you please accept my request to you, I would be really grateful.’ Reading that was a bit uncomfortable, random people looking at me.
“Well, I have the half of my college on my account anyways. One more won’t hurt for sure.” I thought to myself as I confirmed his request. How was I suppose to know what was turning on the corner...

February entered. Woah that went very fast, just yesterday I was in a mystery place that’s now called ‘Amorous.’ As I just sat there day dreaming about me and Rupert in Amorous place the bell rang as my French teacher dismiss us out of classroom.
