care because I was laughing so hard. I looked down at Johnny and smiled.
β€œ So Lilz,” Johnny smiled.
β€œ What?” I giggled.
β€œ How come when Jacie was calling you those names, and threw her pop at you. Why didn’t you do anything?” Johnny started swatting my hair like a playful cat.
β€œ Well… I mean im not gonna act like im ten years old, and I could care more or less about what she thinks about me,” I said.
β€œ thank god we didn’t get another girl that acts like Jacie because I might of died,” He gaged. I let out a laugh, and then I noticed this is the first time in couple days that I have actually smiled and actually been happy. This is a real smile and my real laughter’s. Johnny touched my cheek and I looked down at him. β€œ What’s wrong Lilz?” He asked.
β€œ Im just thinking this is the first time in a couple of days that I have been happy,” I whispered.
β€œ Im happy that I made you happy,” He laughed. I let out a laugh. I think I just found my new best friend here.
β€œ So are you wearing that shirt to see if one of the guys are gonna kiss you? Or Jacie?” I smiled. Johnny put his hands over his face and pretended to strangle himself.
β€œ Oh that hurts you would think that!” he put his hand over his heart. β€œ No one has done laundry yet and im out of clothes.
β€œ No one… has done.. laundry?” I asked confused.
β€œ Yeah one person gets assigned to do everyone’s laundry every Saturday and Fray was sick so he didn’t do it,” Johnny sighed. I looked down at him and said Ohhhhh. Someone came walking in and Johnny and I looked over at a tall guy. He had black hair and it went in his face. He looked emo. He even had like makeup on. He was kind of cute but I have never been into the emo kind of guys.
β€œ Hey girl, Marie wanted me to tell you, that you need to do laundry,” He said.
β€œ alright boy,” I said sarcastically.
β€œ And Johnny Dr. Ryik needs you, for your session,” He looked at Johnny that was laying on my lap. Johnny got up and held out his hand for me and held me up.
β€œ I’ll cya later Lilz,” he smiled.
β€œ Cya Johnny boy,” I laughed. Johnny walked past they guy that was standing by the door frame. I turned my back to him, and went to put the book away. I reached up. I should of picked a book that wasn’t so damn high up. I stood on my tip toes and tried to reach up higher. I felt a body press against mine, and someone took the book out of my hands and put it on the bookshelf. I turned around and the guy was against my body and if I just leaned in our lips would be touching. He looked at me and his eyes traveled down my body and I realized that my shirt went over my shorts so you couldn’t see them. I punched his chest, and he stumbled back a little.
β€œ Whoa you didn’t bitch slap me you fucking punched me like a dude,” He gasped. I raised my hand and tried to punch him again but he caught my wrists.
β€œ You little perv, I saw you looking at me like that! I am wearing fucking shorts,” I snarled.
β€œ Hm we got a feisty one,” He smiled. I narrowed my eyes at him, and brought my knee up and kicked him right in the groan. He bent over and I went around him to leave and he grabbed me by my waist and I went stumbling down. He straddled himself over me.
β€œ Get off freak,” I snarled.
β€œ You should respect adults,” He smiled.
β€œ Wait! Your river! Your nineteen! You look like your my age!” I broke out into laughter’s.
β€œ How old are you?” River asked.
β€œ Fifteen,” He laughed.
β€œ You do not look fifteen. You look seventeen,” He looked at me.
β€œ Well you don’t look your age either,” I snarled.
β€œ Thank you. Your calling me young.”
β€œ Im saying you look like a boy not a man,” he snarled. He scrunched up his face.
β€œ Wrong,” HE smiled and he bent down so his face was inches from mine. I stared into his eyes, and he started to let spit out of his mouth. I went to shriek but he put his hand over my mouth. OH SICK! I squirmed.
β€œ I won’t do it if you….” He stopped to think.
β€œ If she licks your face,” A voice laughed. I tilted my head up.
β€œ Hey tony good idea,” River said. My eyes widened and river took his hand off my mouth.
β€œ Go on then Lilz,” Tony smiled. I looked up at him and narrowed my eyes. I shook my head.
β€œ I aint fucking doing that!” I snarled. River brought out the spit again.
β€œ No!!” I cried. He smiled and stopped. I rested my head on the ground and closed my eyes, and leaned up and licked his face. He turned his head, and then grabbed my tongue with my mouth. My eyes opened and he pushed me down and started to suck on my tongue. I brought up my knees and kicked him off.
β€œ Oh im going to kill you!” I hissed. He laughed.
β€œ I couldn’t help myself. I haven’t had fun with a girl for almost three years,” he smiled. Has he been in here for three years. I stood up and turned to tony who was laughing, and I pointed my finger at him
β€œ It was your damned idea!” I snarled.
β€œ Ah don’t worry Lilz, you’re going to be like our sister in no time,” He smiled. I narrowed my eyes, and shook my head and pushed him away so I could get out of there. I walked down the hall, and turned around and tony was gone, and river was just staring at me. I put my hand on my hip, and puckered my lips.
β€œ Take a picture it last longer,” I smiled. And then I walked into my room. I closed the door, and laid on the bed. I hate them all… Except for Johnny. I laid there and went to go grab my i-pod. Its only eight thirty but I think Im going to go to sleep. I went to turn off the light and then remembered that Marie wants me to do laundry. Whoever that is?
Chapter eleven-
I walked out of my room, and walked down the hall. I looked down playing with my i-pod when I ran into someone. I stumbled back, and fell on the floor. I pulled out my i-pod and looked up at Joanna.
β€œ I- Im sorry,” I muttered.
β€œ No its fine,” He smiled and helped me up. β€œ Where are you going at this time at night?” He laughed.
β€œ Laundry,” I smiled.
β€œ Oh Marie picked you?”
β€œ Yep. Lucky me,” I laughed. Someone was standing behind Joanna and I looked at him. He was very tall. Bulky. He stared at me and I did a little smile. He just stood there behind Joanna and Joanna saw me looking at someone and turned around and smiled.
β€œ Oh Lilz this is Patch, my brother. Patch this is Lilz the new girl,” Joanna smiled. I smiled.
β€œ H- Hello,” I muffled hardly audible. Patch just looked at me and nodded his head. He stepped closer into the light, and I felt paralyzed. I looked into his eyes… those eyes… they look so…
β€œ Lilz?” Joanna laughed. I shot my head up and looked at Joanna.
β€œ Oh- Urgh- sorry I spaced out,” I scratched the back of my neck. β€œ Im gonna go,” I smiled, and with that I turned on my heal and hauled ass out of their! When I got in the middle of the stairs, I stopped and relaxed my body.
β€œ Those eyes,” I muttered. I continued down the stairs and looked around. Where do I wash laundry. I walked down the hall and after the third door I opened I saw stairs that led to the basement. I peered down the stairs and it was completely pitch black. I searched for a switch on the wall and found nothing. I took a step and very slowly made my way down the stairs. When I got to the bottom, and fumbled threw the dark, and ran into almost thirty things before I found a light switch. Filthy. So dirty. In the corner was a dryer and a washer and six loads of clothes. I sighed and saw down on a beanie chair next to the clothes and started to separate the darks, whites, and colors. I put in my headphones and was listening to Skillet. I started to tap my foot to the music, and then nothing. I pulled out my i-pod from my pocket, and found that it had died. I sighed and took out the headphones and stuffed them in my pocket. I got up, and put the first load in the wash. I was having trouble loading it, and then I heard someone breathing and I turned around and saw patch. I let out a scream and dropped all of the clothes. I clutched onto the washing machine, and looked at him. Patch just dropped another load of clothes on the floor, and our eyes connected.
β€œ Y- Y- You scared the l- living crepe out of m- m- me,” I muttered. He just stared at me, and I felt so… I put my head down, and turned around and continued to put the clothes in the washer. He was still standing there, and I know he was still fucking staring at me. I stopped for a second and didn’t turn around but tilted my head to the right a little.
β€œ Are you trying to burn a whole in my head?” I mumbled. I turned around and Patch looked away for the first time, and he started to walk close to me, and I took a step backwards and he trapped me between him and the washing machine.
β€œ Im, Patch,” he whispered. My eyes widened.
β€œ Well yeah I know….” I muttered. He took his hand and tilted my chin up, and when he touched me… I felt this sensation run through my body, and my cheeks turned bright red. He just stared at me, and then he turned around and left. I stood their dumbfounded.
β€œ Alright and maybe he likes to burn holes in people… yeah that’s why he is here,” I muttered. I looked down at the clothes. And picked them up and turned on the washer. It took me about an hour and a half to finish all the clothes. I wrapped all the clothes and put them into the bins to which the clothes belonged to. I walked up the stairs and took one bin at a time. When I finally got the seventh bin I sat at the top of the stairs. I broke a sweat from that… I dragged them all to the stairs, and sat down on the last star.
There is no freaking way… someone came walking down the hallway, and then I saw River standing their stuffing his mouth, and when he saw me with all the clothes, and I looked like shit he broke out into laughter.
β€œ So damn funny!” I hissed.
β€œ Lilz why didn’t you use the lift?” He laughed.
β€œ The what?”
