โRemember, this is the last battle weโll have to do in order to bring down Justice,โ I turned to them. They both nodded, looking toward each other and back to me.
โDonโt worry about us, we can handle ourselves,โ Randolph said.
โWhy do you think weโve been with you so long and havenโt died yet?โ Alicia said. I just laughed, accepting the fact that she was right. We all ran up the steps, pulling out our weapons and finding the first group of soldiers, which were just outside the castle doors. With haste, we cut through them, bursting through the doors and up another huge flight of stairs, down a hallway, cutting down any soldiers in our way. We ran through a large room with a long table and multiple chairs, shoving through any butlers or maids there were. Again, we burst through a door to a hallway, cutting through the last few soldiers until we made it to the throne roomโs doors. I stopped in front of the doors and turned to them.
โIโm truly grateful to you guys,โ I said, โAnd Iโd love to see it to the end with you, but Iโm afraid Iโll have to do this alone.โ
โHold on, you bring us all this way only to deny us the ability to fight beside you against the Emperor? Hell no, Iโm coming with you,โ Randolph seemed rather upset that I was trying to leave them. However, Alicia stopped him.
โIt is his father,โ Alicia pointed out, โHe would be much more effective against him alone than the three of us together.โ Still pissed, Randolph turned.
โJust,โ he hesitated, โDonโt die.โ I smiled, even if he couldnโt see it.
โDonโt worry, I donโt plan to,โ I said, turning back to the doors. The two, large wooden doors with intricate gold designs on them. The two doors leading to the throne room, where my real father sat in wait for me to one day challenge him. Those two doors, I shoved open with great anticipation of the battle that will end Justice.
