A Beautiful Dove got engaged to a Raven and they were so in love, but the Raven’s ugly mother and sisters got jealous of the Beautiful Dove and bullied her, calling her names, also saying she is ugly, shapeless, desperate, proud, immoral, and ambitious to get a great man.

The Raven being ashamed of his incapable family’s evil behavior, flee into the woods instead of standing up for his beloved.

The virtuous, innocent Dove, believing in the words of her evil inlaws, flew away heartbroken, and sat on a branch across a pond where she saw her reflection for the first time, and to her surprise, she was the most beautiful Dove she had ever seen.

With strength regained, she flew away into a new beginning and married an attractive male of her own kind and lived happily everafter.

Moral: When the Virtuous does not know their value, it paves way for the Evil to walk over them.

8.The Lion and the Wild Hog

A Lion decided to abdicate his throne and give it to the Wild Hog who had made him happy with pleasant flattery, wanting to wander in the woods without responsibility.

The Wild Hog, who refused at first, accepted the offer after much persuasion by the Lion.

After Coronation, all the animals of the wild bowed before the Wild Hog when the Lion did not, forgetting he is one of the simple subjects after abdication.

The angry Wild Hog, who was already afraid of a restoration, banished the Lion from the woods.

Unable to fight back what he gave off graciously, the Lion left the jungle for the mountains afar to find a new territory.

Moral: Authority given by will, can never be taken back with honor.

One morning, a Crane that crushed on the Peacock’s friend, warded off the Peacock that he came early to see his poor friend, only to find her dance happily with her new friend.

Unable to confront her at her happiest, he left silently and never returned.

Moral: Greed takes more than it gives.

10. The Eagle and the Snake

A snake escaped an Eagle each time she tried to attack him.

Hence, the Eagle tricked him out of his shelter, declaring peace, inviting him to eat away the rats that threaten her little ones, in her dwelling in the clouds.

The foolish Snake allowed the Eagle to carry him and he dreamed of how soft the clouds would be to glide, and how delicious his rat meal was going to be.

The ambitious Eagle killed him and served him for her little ones as planned.

An enemy is never to be trusted, that too with farfetched promises.
