โ€œIโ€™ll be fine.โ€

โ€œNo you wonโ€™t! What if someone finds our camp? What if they find you?โ€ I continued my search to find something to stop the bleeding.

โ€œIโ€™ll knock them out just like I did to Xyan.โ€ Ros glared at me.

โ€œYou almost fainted from that with all of your energy! What do you think will happen if you used drowning wave with only a quarter of your energy?โ€

โ€œThen Iโ€™ll go hunting.โ€ Ros tried to stand.

I pulled him back down. โ€œYou canโ€™t even sit up! And you know your water abilities are useless when hunting game.โ€

Ros continued to glare. โ€œWho do you think youโ€™re talking to?โ€

โ€œThe water prince, Phoibos.โ€ I glared back and stopped my search for a cloth. โ€œHere goes nothing,โ€ I muttered. I ripped off a piece of my shirt and tried not to blush at Rosโ€™ intense blue eyes staring at my exposed flesh. I set the fabric on top of Rosโ€™ wound and the shirt quickly absorbed the blood. โ€œWe need something to clean it. On my way back from hunting Iโ€™ll bring water.โ€

โ€œBe careful, okay?โ€ Ros dropped the angry act and looked at me, worry making his eyes shine. โ€œWatch out for opponents. If you run into one, scream as loud as you can. Iโ€™ll be there.โ€

โ€œQuit acting like my older brother.โ€ I rolled my eyes and said teasingly, โ€œIโ€™m older than you.โ€

Ros blushed and stuttered, โ€œJ-just by two months!โ€

I giggled and walked out of the tent. I closed the flap and walked away. I almost burst out laughing when I heard Ros yelling,

โ€œHey, did you hear me, Sel?! Two months!โ€

I walked back to camp silently with two rabbits and damp moss I found on a tree. I glanced around and then raced for the camp entrance, ducking inside safely. I opened Rosโ€™ tent to find him alert yet sleepy. โ€œIf you were tired you shouldโ€™ve went to bed.โ€

โ€œNot with you out in the open,โ€ he snorted. โ€œAnd besides, Iโ€™m hungry. Whatโ€™d you get?โ€

Rolling my eyes slightly, I showed him the two rabbits. He licked his lips hungrily. I gave him one and we began skinning it and I used my Lampro Fengari to slice the head off. We gutted it and I finally took it outside so it could cook on the fire. Coming back to Rosโ€™ tent, I showed him the moss. โ€œHereโ€™s all I could find.โ€

โ€œWill it work?โ€ Ros looked at it in doubt.

โ€œI donโ€™t know.โ€ I bent down and slowly removed my sodden shirt. I placed the moss on the large wound and began rubbing it.

Ros let out a loud sigh of relief and let me rub for a few more minutes. Suddenly he blushed and stopped me. โ€œOkay, thatโ€™s enough.โ€

โ€œWhat do you mean? Itโ€™s working!โ€ I continued to rub and was surprised when Ros let out a moan. โ€œRos?โ€

โ€œI said stop rubbing!โ€ he snapped at me.

I glared at him and he shuddered under my red eyes that always flared when Iโ€™m angry. โ€œWell, excuse me for trying to help, you ungrateful Nero Prinkipa!โ€ I huffed and exited the tent, not bothering to close the flap.

โ€œS-Selene!โ€ Ros called.

I ignored him. I went into my own tent and fell back onto my the ground, not noticing the pain shoot up my back. I rolled onto my side, thinking about Ros and his odd behavior. โ€œHeโ€™s never rejected my help before,โ€ I whispered. โ€œMaybe itโ€™s because weโ€™re older now?โ€ Does Ros have a girlfriend? I shivered, feeling a pang of jealousy enter me. โ€œWell, he is the Water Prince. Heโ€™s gonna find that special someone one day.โ€ I closed my eyes and attempted to fall asleep, only to fail. I sat up and began braiding my hair. I rarely braid it, because all royalty have to let their hair down. But this was a special occasion. I heard my tent flap unzip and I instantly gripped Fengari Thea. If it was an opponent, they chose the wrong time to battle.

But it wasnโ€™t. It was Ros. โ€œYou idiot!โ€ I yelled, seeing that he was limping and the wound was reopening.

Ros ignored me and zipped up the tent. โ€œIโ€™m sorry,โ€ he grumbled.

I sighed. Same old Ros. โ€œItโ€™s okay,โ€ I accepted gently. โ€œI shouldโ€™ve listened to you.โ€

Ros blushed. โ€œN-noโ€ฆ I didnโ€™t want you to listen to me.โ€

โ€œHuh?โ€

Ros looked deep into my eyes and I felt the waves crashing down on me. He looked so cute when he blushed. I shook my head slightly. What am I thinking? He opened his mouth, before unsheathing Nero Prinkipa. โ€œAn opponent!โ€ he whispered.

I grinned and unsheathed my own sword. โ€œJust what I needed.โ€
