As Silvana finished explaining, they entered her chambers. A Crystal ball sat perched on a table. The Prince closed the curtains as The Seer Elf sat and warmed her hands. The Prince sat on her bed.
“Say, If The Vampyre Queen did take me away, what would happen to me?” He asked Silvana. She set her hands on the Crystal ball.
“That is what I am trying to figure out.” Silvana replied a she set her hands onto the crystal ball. Instantly she felt the Magik warm up. She closed her eyes and focused on what Lady Raisa looks like. She had seen her last month while in looking for flowers in the forest. Lady Raisa had showed her where a secret garden of flowers was hidden. She imagined her wavy red hair and piercing sky colored eyes. She pictured her smooth orange and magenta wings. She felt the tugging sensation of the Crystal ball telling her that it found who she was looking for. She opened her eyes, seeing Lady Raisa standing in a darkened throne room. In front of Lady Raisa was a beautifully pale woman with a deep magenta shirt stopping just above her ribs, showing off her smooth stomach. The woman's legs were draped in a long black skirt.
“Thank you Izora.” Lady Raisa said with a bow. The women, who Silvana now knew was The Vampyre Queen, stood up with a playful grin.
“Of course, Raisa. I’ve missed you. It’s been lonely, finding new children of the underworld alone.” Izora purred, setting a hand on Raisa’s shoulder. Raisa stiffened at The Vampyres words.
“You know why I-” The vision cut out as Izora made eye contact with Silvana. Silvana was forced back into her body. She gasped as her chambers came back into view. The Prince was kneeling next to her.
“Are you alright?” He asked worriedly. She looked at him, her eyes shining.
“I need to talk to your father.”
Tempest The Sorceress
Tempest laughed as she watched a drunk man try to pick up one of his friends, with a single arm. She twirled one of her green curls around her finger. She was happy. She had convinced the King of a rebellion from the Fae, when the rebellion was not set to happen for another hundred years. With the Fae and the Human’s fighting, no one would pay attention to a lowly Sorceress. She ran her fingers through a man’s hair as he kissed her cheek. She crossed her legs, touching the man’s leg with her foot. He ran a hand down her arm, clutching her hand. This man was Nathaniel, her current lover. He was a Warrior Elf. A very strong one. Across the tavern, a small Elf with brown hair caught Tempest’s eye. The small Elf’s hair had blue tips. Gwyneth, the Bounty Hunter. But why was she here? Tempest patted Nathaniel’s hand and excused herself. She made her way through the crowd, her single eye scanning faces. She made it to the Bounty Hunter and laid a hand on the small Elf’s shoulder. Gwyneth turned around and looked into Tempest’s glowing eye. Gwyneth’s eyes flicked to Tempest’s eyepatch, then back to the glowing eye. Tempest smiled with her black painted lips.
“Hello, Gwyneth.” The Sorceress purred to the Bounty Hunter. Gwyneth’s smile was strained.
“Hello, Madam. May I help you?” She asked half convincingly. She’s still learning, Tempest thought.
“Could I have a word, alone?” Tempest asked charmingly. The Bounty Hunter glanced at her companion, then nodded.
Outside of the tavern, Tempest’s sweet exterior shattered. She shoved the small Elf against the wall and held her by her neck. With her right hand, Tempest help up a fist of blue and red fire.
“Why are you here, Elf.” The Sorceress growled. Gwyneth struggled against her grip.
“None of your business, Witch.” The Bounty Hunter replied snarkily. Tempest shot a flame at the Elf, burning her ear. The Elf cried out.
“Don’t make this any harder than it needs to be. Answer the question.” Tempest demanded. Gwyneth gave in.
“I have a bounty on a Nymph. She comes here a lot.” She choked out. Tempest loosened her grip. The bounty wasn’t on any of her people. She didn’t work with Nymph’s, they lied to much. Tempest let the Elf fall to the ground, choking.
Gwynth The Bounty Hunter ElfI hate Sorceresses, Gwyneth thought as she rode away from the tavern with bandages on her ear. It wasn’t burned badly, but it still hurt. She had seen Nathaniel with that woman. What was he doing? The legendary Warrior Elf with a Witch. She scolded herself for using that word. Witch was the slave name of Sorceresses. She hadn’t meant to say it to that woman, but it just slipped out. She sighed at her own stupidity. What kind of respected Bounty Hunter and Elf said such things? Gwyneth looked over at her companion. He was strongly built and brooding. His name was Abaddon and he was a Demon. She had been forced to work with him on this bounty. She didn’t mind completely since she was requested, by name, by the Human King. She was looking for a Dark Nymph named Eva. The Nymph was rumored to be one of The Vampyre Queen’s children. Or at least knew for certain where the Vampyre was.
