cupboard. She pulled out a tube that read hydrocortisone cream 0.5%, whatever that is, and a piece of cloth.

" Ivy, please show me your hand." she asked. " Hm... I'll put on some of this cream and also, how did you get this injury?"

" Um... I don't really know. I was almost late, and I just did what I normally. Get my musics sheets and flute, but something different happened. When I touched my flute case, my hand was burnt or something."

" Oh well then... That's quite strange." Mrs. A said. ", Oh! But don't worry it should be fine. Now off to break you go!"

I didn't notice that time flew by so quick, well I guess that's no math. Oh well, I have to go to Mrs. Martin for the homework and notes.

                                                                                     ***

The rest of the day passed by quickly with only a few interesting things that happened. First, was when a guy named Roy Green accidently pulled out his earbuds from his MP3 player and swore very loudly during History. I thought I heard Sunships by Chiki Ninaj. Well he gets to spend 10 minutes being yelled at by Mr. Boyls, and I thought he was a rather calm person. The funny thing was that the teacher was yelling at him but wasn't wearing his glasses so he was facing the wall and not Roy. The second was when Ruby was staring at me quite a bit today, and whenever I noticed, she was quickly look away. I don't even talk to her very often, what's with that? The last thing was my math test score, but I'll forget that for now.

I walk out of school towards the library. Ah yes... Mommie dearest's 'books'. Mainly cheezy romance crap and how to books (which mainly include ones like cooking, fashion, and dieting a.k.a. things to attract a man or become a housewife) Checking my bag for my wallet I cuss under my breathe realizing I need more money to buy food for myself and I want to make cookies for a snack.

" Well, good thing I finally memorized my Library ID card." I said quietly to myself as I approach the doors to the city library[ which is called " The Herelsehil Library" Creative name, right?

As I touch the handle of the door, it soon smashes into my face. A jerk-head runs out looking at me saying "Sorry!" under his breathe. Well, at least he said sorry. As I rub my face, which is in deep pain now, I see a girl crying.

" Aw what the-" I said. " Are you okay?!?! ARE YOU HURT? DID SOMETHING HAPPEN?!?!?!?"

( Oh crap, I forgot to mention... I HATE seeing crying people [unless it's my 'family'] It just happens, I freak the heck out)

I finally notice the appearance of the girl, and oh my goodness... SHE IS TALL. But still, very pretty. Long brunette hair, all gathered into a ponytail. Also, rather clear and smooth skin. The girl was wearing a flowy skirt and a cute shirt with pearls sewn on the shoulders. And I look into her teary eyes, one hazel eye and one blue eye. How pretty...

" Um... How about you come with me?" I said meekly. " I could help you? Maybe?"

The tall girl just nodded and followed me to a empty bench area. We just sat on the bench waiting for the silence to be killed. I wonder why she was crying? Was it because of the dude who bumped into me earlier?

" I'm sorry about that person eariler." she said. " I'm okay. I just..."

She signed. The girl stared at the ground thinking, muttering some words so quiet that I can't hear and I'm sitting next to her!

" Thanks for following me. I just think..." she stopped. " Sorry, I don't really know you that well, so I'd rather not say."

" No! No... It's completely fine." I said reassuringly. " I just want to make sure you're okay! By the way, I'm Ivy, Ivy Grove."

" My name is Flora. Oh!" Flora stops and from her pocket, she takes out a phone. Flora talks on the phone for a bit and then says she has to go and waves bye to me. What a nice person!

" Hm... Now to get those books and maybe some comics." I say to myself. Checking my phone for the time, it was 3:02. That's enough time, I guess.

Chapter 3: Home and a Strange Dream

Walking back to home, the weight of the books make my shoulder sore. I stare at the scenery and gaze at it. Hm... That's quite strange, it's only late February, and some trees and bushes have some blooming flowers. The various mix of different colors brightens the walk home. Light colored leaves, mix of white, lavander, and red flowers, and white birch trees make it seem like the professional pictures in a magazine. Noticing the time, 3:53, I'll quicken my pace home.

I think about how during the catch up chat I had with Mrs. Martin, my math teacher, I give out a large sigh. The score I got on my test wasn't very good. I had to help do lots of chores and cook for the small dinner party mommie dearest had. I finished all my homework, but didn't have time to study. And cramming for that test was impossible. 25%, that's the worst score I've ever heard of. I know about 65% scores, but 25%? With that I stare at the clouds in the sky with another big sigh.

" Hey!" Hearing a voice from behind.

" Huh?" I say in confusion.
