spoke. ’’ No doctor would be able to help me . take me home, I know someone who can help me’’. another trickle of pain went through my chest, I moaned. β€˜β€™ please hurry’’. he helped me stand up, but then knocked my legs from under me and carried me while I laid their trying to hold my self together. I hadn’t realized that it was still rain until I heard thunder rolling in through the sky it had gotten dark, and the clock by the cafΓ© garden said it was a quarter past five. Mrs. Roberts must be worried. She was my guardian and guide to the human world. She is a witch a healer in fact . She is my best friend blooms grate aunt. I told her I would be home by three. I could hear police sirens wailing from the front entrance of the school better late then never I would say. I could hear the heavy footfalls of each policemen entering the school, I could also hear our principle Mr. Mitchells screaming and yelling at the chief of police aka better known as Mr. Roberts , blooms grate uncle but I just call him by his first name James, was telling him what had happen earlier this afternoon and how late they were.
Mr. Roberts told him to remain calm that he would go ahead and take a look at what has happened and to be safe he’ll go first and when its clear he’ll call his men in.
β€˜β€™ hold on Taylor, for just a second’’. Taylor nodded once. I groaned in pain but held it in. I could hear the soft but alert footfalls of James entering the cafΓ©. He hesitated at the door but then came swooping in with his gun in his hands scanning the perimeter. As he was making his way down the cafΓ© his eyes lingered at the two people standing in the rain just out side the broken windows in the school garden. I felt his heart skip a beat as he was aware who the two people were , he put down his gun and ran towards me and Taylor. β€˜β€™ Dawn, sweetheart are you okay?’’ then he saw my wound and shot Taylor a dirty look and said β€˜β€™what have you done to her ?’’ with wide eyes. Taylor clenched his jaw and spat out the next few words through hiss teeth. β€˜β€™I didn’t do anything , if anything I saved her life’’. Taylor gripped me more closely to his chest as if to protect me. β€˜β€™ you son of a ….’’I stopped them both before it got out of hand , I mean I was close to death here not for the first but the second time for crying out load , and I highly doubt my mother would be there again to bring me back. I wonder if she’s here now watching this. I hoped she didn’t see that thing that happened between me and Taylor that would be embarrassing. I felt my cheeks get hot, then I snapped back to reality. β€˜β€™ James It wasn’t his fault it was mine actually , but before I could tell you the whole story I need you to help him get me to Monica as fast as you can. Can you do that?’’. he didn’t looked pleased that Taylor was coming along with me ,but then he looked at me with serious eyes and said β€˜β€™follow me, and be quick about it because if she spills anymore more blood, I’ll have your head mounted over my fireplace before you could hit puberty’’. I gave James a dirty look to show him that was enough of the threatening for one night, but before I could go I stop James and said β€˜β€™ I cant go out looking like my self , people would start to wonder who I am and how I got here in the first place, I need my necklace, its over there by the table, could you hand it to me’’.
