βThanks, June.β
βSo, how does it feel to be seventeen?β she asked curiously.
I shrugged. βI don't know. I don't feel any different.β
βHmm, that's normal I guess.β I shrugged again. I saw two girls walking toward us, both being brunettes. As they came closer, I already recognized them. Selena and Melinda. They're twins, but Selena is older by five minutes. You rarely see them apart, like wherever Selena goes, Melinda goes, and wherever Melinda goes, Selena goes. With the way way they act, most think they were Siamese twins.
Once they were in front of us, I greeted them.
βHey, Sel, hey Mel.β It was easier to just call Selena Sel and Melinda Mel. Both of them look exactly alike, so yeah, they're identical twins. The one way to tell them apart are their eyes. Sel has blue eyes, like June's, and Mel has stormy Grey eyes.
βHey, Raven,β they said simultaneously. They say things at the same time constantly that it becomes kind of creepy, but they're my friends, so I deal with it.
βWell come on, lets not stand around here, lets dance,β suggested June. I nodded. The twins, June, and I went where everyone were dancing by the fire. We danced and danced that we couldn't stop, until I felt an arm around my waist, βSorry girls, but I believe it's my turn to dance with the birthday girl,β said Ace.
I giggled, βSee yeah later, guys.β Ace lead me away from them and stopped to the opposite side of whee I was recently dancing at. As Ace and I danced for a while, he whispered in my ear, βYou dance beautifully you know that?β
I giggled. βNo, I don't think I do know that.β
βWell, now you do,β he said while smiling at me with love in his eyes. I know mine showed the same amount of love I have for him. I loved him so much that I would be nothing without him. He's always there for me, he listens to me, and he protects me. I wouldn't know anyone else who's as sweet as him. I would just do anything for him.
