I hold my stance and walk behind him. He stopped before attempting to plunge the knife into the blondes’ neck, obviously aware of my presence.
I hear a low chuckle before he turns and swings his knife towards me, cutting the fabric of my hoodie.
A growl escapes my throat before I swing and slice his arm with one swift movement.
“Had some practice I see.” The sentence escapes his lips before yet another low chuckle. He lunges at me. With a fast movement I block his attack with a quick step to the left and a fasts stab to his shoulder. He hissed as I pulled it out, and just as soon as that happened he was on his feet again. He lunged forward and this time I wasn’t quick enough, and was now pinned to the wall, his blood covered knife to my neck.
“This was fun wasn’t it…I love a good fight once in a while.” I could now his face, which was in fact gruesome.
Pale skin, Dark eyes, and worst of all, the smile.
The bloody smile stretched cheek to cheek, and you can easily see through to his mouth, where sat a set of somewhat sharp white teeth.
“Scared yet baby girl~”
I lost it.
“I’m not scared of you, hell not even the slightest. And don’t call me that, I’m not a pet, I don’t need a fucking nickname.” I spat out.
He just chuckled.
He pressed the tip of the knife to my neck and pushed it into my skin. I didn’t bat an eyelid. He does not deserve to see me reacting to the pain he is causing me.
“Don’t like the nickname huh? Well what’s your name baby girl” He purrs.
I clench my teeth.
“Just kill me now. You don’t deserve to know anything about me if you are just going to kill me off” I hiss through clenched teeth.
He smirked through the permanent smile etched into his face.
“Tsk, Tsk, Attitude much?” He laughs and presses the edge of the blade deeper in my neck, bringing it to the right slightly, causing what I think was a small gash.
To my surprise I can barely feel the pain anymore.
“Why won’t you fucking react?!” He says loudly in my face.
It was my turn to laugh.
“I’m not giving you the satisfaction of seeing me in pain”
He was thrown off by this, which gave me the advantage.
I push him away swiftly and grabbed the knife that had been thrown from my hand moments earlier.
I gripped the handle.
As a result of pushing him away, caused his knife to deeply slide across my neck. I felt the warm thick liquid slide down my neck.
All of my anger towards everyone who has ever done me wrong had built up.
I tried to lunge towards the serial killer, but was stopped by someone tackling me to the ground.
“Jess no!! You can’t kill Jeff!!” The voice of my sister rang out.
“What the fuck are you talking about?!? He was about to kill you!! Are you mentally insane?!?!” I yell at her.
“He’s immortal, he can’t die you dumb ass!!” She yells back.
Those words rang in my ears. Jeff, Immortal, This can’t be. He’s not real! This cannot be happening!!
“I need you to run and don’t stop, I’ll buy you some time” She whispers, tears streaming down her face and mixing with her blood, before getting up off of me and lunging herself towards Jeff.
“Megan!!” I scream.
“Just go!! Do it for me Jess, I love you, now LEAVE!” She yells before getting attacked by Jeff.
I wipe some tears and get up off of the floor I take one more look at her before I ran out of the house.
Before I stepped out I hear choking, and I knew she was gone.

I have been running for about two now. My muscles ache and my chest burns. I was in no shape to be running this much but I am too terrified too stop.
It had started raining about twenty minutes ago, and it doesn’t help the situation at all. My hair stuck to my face and my clothes clung to my skin, and it is making it extremely difficult to do any of this.
There has been only two cars that had passed and both times I tried to hitch hike a ride, but they just passed by.
I was in the part of town that has a lot of wooded area, and I was on one of the main road/highways.
The town wasn’t very well known so I wasn’t surprised when there were few cars. I had come across a few gas station here and there but I never bothered to stop.
I really need to get to a motel or something. I can’t do this all night.
Down the road I can see yet again another gas station.
The past few gas stations were about a mile or two back, and those ones seemed like the usual ones you would find in a town, city, etc. But this one was weird. As I neared it I saw the name of it properly.
I had never seen this one before, like it wasn’t the usual CircleK or Hess, it was something completely new.
I stopped running and slowed my pace to a walk. It was at least 4 am now so I doubt they are open, but as I got to the door I saw they were, surprisingly. There was a cashier sitting there tapping on her phone and watching a tv.
I quickly hide the knife I was gripping in my pocket, and fixed my hood over my head and hair, trying to cover up the blood that was on my neck.
I head in and the cashier looks up surprised when she sees me.
“Good morning,” She mumbles out, but then goes back t paying attention to the tv.
I nod. “Morning” My voice came out hoarse and scratchy, but I quickly cleared my throat and said it again.
I give her a slight smile before turning on my heel and walking to get a water bottle from the back shelf. I grabbed it and made my way back up to the counter.
I cleared my throat once more before setting the bottle on the counter, and pulling out my wallet from my pocket.
The money was soaked.
I groan out loud. “Sorry it’s kind of wet.” I mutter out.
She nods, “Its fine, money is money”
She takes the soaking wet bill from my hands and rings up the bottle. While she was doing so I tried to make small talk.
“So… why is this place open at 4 am?” I ask.
She shrugs.
“Don’t ask me, I just have the job. I am told to be here from midnight to eight in the morning.” She stifles a laugh.
“What about you, what are you doing here at four am?” She asked curiously.
“I-“I cut myself off, contemplating on how I could say the story without saying something weird or creepy.
Just tell her you are just trying to get away from someone.
Jamie’s voice rang in my head.
“I’m just trying to get away from someone, that’s it.” I mutter.
“From whom may I ask?”
“No one you need to worry about” I say harshly.
I didn’t mean for it to come out like that, it’s just the thought of what Jeff did makes me want to murder him.
I sigh.
“Sorry I’m just on edge.”
It was silent for a moment until the TV went off.
“We are now live outside of the Caylen residence. It seems as if the house has been torn up and the bodies of Megan Caylen, Andrea Caylen, and Corey Caylen have been found. Reports from neighbors have said that they had heard screaming and crashing before they saw the youngest daughter, Jessica Caylen, run out of the house. Here is a recent picture of her. She might be a suspect in the family’s murder, of she might have been trying to run from whomever did this. If you have any information on where she might be, call 911 and report it immediately.”
My breath caught in my throat as the cashier turned from me to the picture.
Her eyes darted to her phone that was sitting on the counter beside her.
I looked her dead in the eyes and shook my head no.
“Don’t do it” I growl.
“b-but y-you k-killed them!” She says, her eyes watering up.
“I was trying to get away, I did not kill my family” I growl out again.
She darted her eyes back to the phone. She grabbed it quickly and darted for the back work room.
I felt something wash over me as Jake took me over.
“She told you not too” He chuckled darkly.
Then I completely blacked out. I don’t remember what had happened after that.
I gasp slightly as I come too again.
The familiar smell of copper hit my nose and I was scared to look behind me.
I looked down to my hands, they were stained with the crimson red.
For some reason I wasn’t fazed by it. I was freaking out on the inside but on the outside I felt like a crazed maniac.
I took a deep breath and turned on my heel.
The sight was gruesome but again I wasn’t fazed.
The girl was on the floor, her face bruised and her neck cut open. Her arms and legs were curled up, probably from the amount of pain she was in.
She was shaking and struggling for breath.
With a deep breath I walk over to her.
“I’m sorry.” I whisper.
She choked out something but I didn’t quite hear it.
“What was that” I ask and lean closer.
“P-put m-me out o-of-f m-my misery-y” She choked on her blood.
I sighed and reached into my pocket, gripping the knife.
I pulled it out and brought it to her chest.
“I’m sorry, it’s not my fault.” I say before I stab it into her heart. She gasps once more before going limp.
I couldn’t help it, a creepy smile played at my lips while I pulled it out of her chest. Blood instantly started to pour out of her body.
I suddenly heard the door open. I abruptly stood up and looked towards the door.
He chuckled.
“Nice to see you again, princess ~ “I clench my teeth and grip the knife in my hand.
“I like what you’ve done with the place” He says and strides over to where I was. I hold my stance as he neared me.
“I watched your little show. Nice work, Princess”
“Don’t fucking call me that” I spat at him.
All I received was a laugh.
“Awe is the kitten mad?”
He was now in front of me I had my knife to his stomach, and he was twirling his knife in front of my face.
“Just leave me be, I have no fucking clue why you insist on stalking me” I growl.
He grinned through his already cut in smile, and leaned in closer until our noses were almost touching.
“Oh princess, you are a witness, I never let those go”
With that I pushed him away from me.
He growled and his eyes darkened.
“Come at me bro, I dare you” I say and narrow my eyes.
He chuckles.
“Bring it on, Princess”
