heart was outside its body in a cage of bone and flesh dangling around its neck. I looked at its face and its teeth were all replicas of crocodile teeth except that they were also serrated like a shark’s teeth. I think it noticed me though because it spun around in my direction and roared. Now I knew I had limited time to get out of the tall apartment building before the giant collapses it and kills me. So, I ran as fast as I could down the stairs and I only made it to the fifth floor when I heard the upper floors being ripped from the building. I ran and ran down the stairs faster, but I knew I wasn’t going to make it in time still my bod and mind told me to run. I rested by a wall for a second and a huge fist came through and I was too shocked to run and the floor and everything around me was gone. I was now flying, and pieces of an apartment building were flying with me so I grabbed onto a piece of the building hoping it would help me survive in some way. I knew this had to be the end but instead of smacking the ground when I opened my eyes, I was staring at the monster’s eyelid. It turns out I was riding a piece of shrapnel into the monster’s eye. I searched for a way down because I didn’t want to fall from five hundred feet. Then I looked at the dangling bone cage and got an idea, I hopped of the piece of building and landed directly on a thick bone. I grabbed on tight and swung myself inward toward the monster’s heart. I pulled out my machete and began chopping the heart strings. Then I stabbed the heart multiple times until I heard the cry of defat from the giant and as he giant was starting to teeter backwards I cut a hole into the heart and climbed in since it was very fleshy, I was hoping it would absorb most of the shock from the fall and I take minimal damage. As soon as the giants body hit the ground the bone cage surrounding the heart broke, and a long piece of bone was shoved into the heart by the impact. I passed out from fear but my last thought before then was β€œis this the end”. But I woke up a few hours later in a pile of dust but since the heart was at the very top of the giant’s body, I was spared suffocation by dust. I was still in shock after the fall, but I was in overall good spirits and good health. I searched the dust for my gear for an hour before finding it all and organizing it again. The giant was destroyed, and I now had nothing to do besides survive for a year probably and I am ready to accept the fact that the apocalypse is boring. What will I do during the long and excruciating hours of boredom? Imprint
