face and he was still asleep. He looked so relaxed. That is when the same strange feelings I feel when I'm with Logan came back. Some of his hair was hanging in his face and I brushed it out of the way. I looked at my watch to see what time it is and I see it is 11:30 in the morning.

"Oh crap, we are late for practice." I said as I pushed Logan's arm from around me. That caused him to wake up. I got up and start to run to my room.

"What's wrong, Ebony?" he said as he got up and rubbed his eyes.

"Sita and mom are going to kill us. We are late for training." I yelled out to him from in my room. I hurried and took a quick shower and brushed my teeth. After that, I went the dresser and grabbed some jeans and a tank top and my undergarments and put them on. I didn't bother doing anything to my hair, so I'm letting it air dry. When I left out of my room, I didn't see Logan anywhere, but I did see a note on the table. I went over to it and read the notes. Logan was telling me that he went to his room to clean up and change and for me to meet him in the training room. Since I wasn't hungry, I just went to the elevator. Thank goodness Logan wrote down on the note which button to click to get to the training room or I would have got lost just like last night.

I got on the elevator and clicked the button that led me to the floor. Before the door opened, there was a big thud against the elevator doors, causing it to bend inward. I grabbed my chest as I tried to calm down. If I stay here any longer, I might end up having a heart attack with all these pop ups. The elevator doors open and I see Jess and Josh fighting. I mean literally fighting, nearly tearing each other apart.

"Hold up, settle down. What happened?" When I said that, Jessica backed up from pinning Josh against the wall.

"Hey Ebony. What do you mean what happened?"

"Yesterday you guys were all lovey dovey and Twilight crap, but now you guys are literally tearing each other apart." Both Josh and Jessica looked at each other and start laughing.

"What is so funny?" I asked.

"I'm sorry, Ebony. Jessica and I are good. All we were doing was training. Good job by the way, Jessica." Josh said as he gave her a kiss on the cheek. Even though her face is pale from the process of being a vampire, Jessica's face brightened up, and, if she could, blushing without the color in her face.

"Thanks. I learned from the best." she said as she smiled up at him, twirling her hair. Both of them were staring at each other, getting closer to each other.

"No, not again. Not while I am in the room... ALONE." I thought to myself. I cleared my throat, getting both of their attention.

"Hey Jess, how are you feeling?" I asked.

"I feel great. I'm getting used to my new senses and abilities. The only bad thing was waking up this morning with a slight sore neck." she said as she rubbed her neck. I looked at Josh.

"What? I said sorry." he said defensively.

"I know. I don't care. As long as I woke up next to you." she says as she hugs Josh. Oh gosh. It is kind of cute what Jessica and Josh is doing, but it is TOO cute and a little annoying. Saving me from the horror, the elevator opens and Sita, mom, and Logan got out. Logan stands beside me and smiles at me.

"Thanks for saving me from these love birds." I said quietly to him.

"Glad I could help." he said as he chuckled. I looked over at Jessica and Josh and both of them look nervous. I looked behind me to where Sita and mom are standing there. Both of them are discussing something and I could tell it was something and I could tell it was something important.

"What is going on? What happened in the elevator?" I asked Logan.

"Nothing. They didn't even say anything on the way here."

"What if they are talking about me being turned and now they want my head." Jessica said, very terrified.

"What are you talking about?" Logan asked.

"You know... the parts in the Twilight saga where newborn vampires or any vampire get their head knocked off and then burned." Josh looked confused and Logan was looking at Jessica as if she was crazy.

"They won't do anything to you, okay? You are safe. But, I have one question for you." Logan said.

"Sure."

"How many times exactly did you watch the Twilight movies?"

"Probably over 20 times. I just keep watching them because it is so awesome."

"Interesting." Logan said as he grabbed my arm and pulled me to the other side of the room."

"What?" I asked, laughing.

"And how did the both of you become best friends?" he asked. No he didn't just ask me that. I playfully hit his arm... at least I tried... as I laughed.

"What did I do?" he asked as he rubbed his arm as if it hurt.

"Yes Jessica might have her moments, but we always support each other. Just give her some time and you will probably understand her. Just get used to hearing more stuff about Twilight."

"Fine. But never leave me alone in the same room with her for a long time."

"Like I can't hear you. I'm now a vampire, remember?" Jessica yells to us.

"Jessica!" Josh, Logan, and I said.

"What did I do?... Oh." She then looked at Sita, all nervous.

"Speaking of vampires, I already know. I know a vampire when I see one. Right now I will not worry about it because we have to get enough practice done so we can be prepared tomorrow."

"I can't believe we are so close." Josh said.

"We can do this. Tomorrow, we will go into the Dark World and that would be our war grounds. Hopefully it wouldn't go so bad. We can't bring it to the real world or it will reveal our identities." Sita says.

"What about the people in the Dark World? Who will keep them safe?" I asked.

"You don't have to worry. I sent out a warning to the people. Some of them are going to a safe place and some of them even volunteered to join us."

"That's good, right? At least for us."

"Yeah. Hopefully it could make things easier for us." mom said.

"Okay, enough talking and more practice. Today we will do things differently. Logan, you stay with Josh and Jessica while Ebony will come with me and Laura." Sita says.

"You really want me to stay here? Let me remind you that I will be left here with a new born vampire, who I don't know if she fed yet, and a vampire, even though he is like a brother to me, I don't know if he would be willing to save me from his crazy girlfriend." Logan said. Jessica frowned and stuck her tongue out at him.

"You are a werewolf Logan, for Christ's sake. You know what you have to do if something bad happens." she says as mom and her start walking to the elevator.

"Good luck." I said as I got on the elevator.

"I need it. No biting okay guys because I bite back." he said as his claws stuck out of his fingertips as he walked to them.

"Please may no one hurt anyone." mom yelled to them as we got on the elevator.

"Don't worry Ms. Jenkins. Everything would be okay." Josh says as he smiles. I didn't get to see what happened next because the elevator door closed. But I did hear a faint thud as the elevator start going up. I looked at Sita and she start shaking her head and mom is rubbing her temples.

"Someone might have tripped." I said, trying to defend them, even though I know we all know it is not true.

"Yeah, okay." Sita said. The elevator door open to this room filled with at least 20 people. When we stepped out of the elevator, everyone stopped talking and looked at us. As I was following Sita and mom to the front, I hear some gasps and people whispering "Is that her?"

"Quiet down people." Sita said as she turned around to them. Mom sat in one of the chairs in the front while I sat next to her. Automatically, everyone got quiet. This wowed me on how well Sita have these people trained. My teachers at school can't even keep us quiet without threatening to give us a pop quiz on a lesson they never go through,

"Okay everyone. As you know, Laura is back, for those who have heard stories about her. And, of course, this is Ebony, if some of you were wondering. I just called you here because today we will welcome Ebony and take her in as a Legna original witch"

"Wait... what?"

Chapter 18

I was caught off guard with what just happened. For those who don't remember what happened, Sita just said that today I will become a member of the Legnas.

"We will welcome Ebony and take her in as a Legna original witch."

"Wait... what?" I thought to myself. Everyone else was clapping. I leaned over to mom.

"Mom, what is Sita talking about?"

"You are about to be accepted as a Legnas original witch. You are about to go through a ceremony where the Mothers of the Legna Witch Society will accept you."

"The what?"

"The Mothers of the Legna Witch Society. They are very powerful original witches who have died years ago. We are about to do the ritual where we would ask them to accept you as a Legna."

"So we are basically talking to the dead to get me into this Legnas thing."

"Yeah."

"Okay... you could have given me a head's up."

"I'm sorry, Ebony. I didn't have enough time."

"Okay." I said as I continued to listen to Sita.

"Ebony, I hope that's good with you?" she said.

"I'm good with what?" I am so confused right now.

"Are you okay with the ritual?"

"Of course. I would love to." I said as I forced a smile on my face. When I answered, everyone start clapping again. Sita smiled at me and turned back to the people.

"Let's begin then." Everyone got up from their seats and grabbed their chairs to line them against the walls. With the chairs gone, the room looked bigger. Everyone formed a circle around me as mom and Sita moved a table into the middle of the circle with me. The table had a candle and a knife on it. The knife caught me off guard.

"Mom, what is the knife for?" I asked, even though I kind of knew what it was for.

"I left a note on what need to be done in the ritual." she said, avoiding my question, and she and Sita got in their place within the circle. Everyone held hands as I stood alone in the circle. Mom and Sita nodded to me, telling me to start. I sighed as I looked down at the paper. There was some kind of foreign language on it that I did not understand.
