Hundreds of large granite balls have been found, some up to eight feet in diameter and weighing as much as 16 tons. All are nearly perfectly circular in spite of being composed of extremely hard granite. This was done about 1600 years ago and by people with primitive tools and no nearby sources of granite.

Dafoe and Mars' Moons

In Gulliver’s Travels, the scientists of Laputa stated: “...two lesser stars or satellites, which revolve around Mars, whereof the innermost is distant from the center of the primary planet exactly three of his diameters and the outermost five. The former revolves in the space of 10 hours and the latter twently-one and a half...” Only in 1877 did astronomer Asaph Hall discover the two moons of Mars and found that the figures given by Dafoe were very close to those he found. How could Dafoe have known in the 17th century that Mars had two moons and also have estimated their orbits so closely? Telescopes were only in their infancy at the time with only a fraction of the powers available today.

 

Pre-Columbian Delta Wing Jets

The above represents a grave object from the Pre-Incan Sinu culture, the Quimbaya Indians, dated in the 6th and 7th centuries. It is about two inches long Ivar T Sanderson of the Society for the investigation of the unexplained, saw it as a representation of a bird. But others dispute this, seeing it as a prototype jet. It is interesting to note that swept-back wings are now known to be integral to jet flight. Also there is a tube that looks like an exhaust pipe as well as a stabilizer.
 

Ezekiel's Wheels

The biblical prophet Ezekiel gave an account “... on the shores of Babylon...” of four creatures which “came all one straightforward and turned not as they went” As well as describing creatures suspended from them in shining suits. Mention is also made of a fiery disk emitting smoke.  Experts have said that it could describe a helicopter unit propelling the creatures. Could this have been a description of a visit by “ancient astronauts”?
 

The Face on Mars

 In the Cydonia area of Mars, in 1976, the Viking Orbiter took a photo from 1000 miles up that showed a “face” as shown below . It would be about a mile in height on the surface. There have been arguments about it since then: some would say it indicates evidence of an ancient civilization. Other civilizations have made use of markers that are visible from high above, as the Nazca. It is also pointed out that the face is in a nearly perfect shield shape, similar to an Egyptian cartouche, not seen on any other heavenly body. Other observers claim to have seen evidence of buildings and other structures. The official explanation is that it is an optical illusion similar to one’s seeing faces in clouds. Other pictures, taken at different times of the day with different shadows, seem to bear this out.  It will be interesting to see what is found when actual exploration is made of the site.

 

Egyptian Flashlights

In the temple of Dendara, on the east bank of the Nile, are nine underground chambers. In one of them is a relief (shown above, top) that looks remarkably   like a light bulb filament, wires and a capacitor. Could they possibly have used flashlights to light the chambers in which they did their painting? If torches had been used, soot would have been deposited on the walls as well as choking the workers with the limited oxygen. Archaeologist say that mirrors were used, but this would have been awkward at best if not impractical. 

Foo Fighters

“Foo Fighters” were seen towards the end of WW2. They were described as large balls of red, orange and white lights that seemed under perfect control. Bothsides in the conflict seen these lights. Could they have been “flying saucers” observing the aircraft of WW2?
