without all my friends on Twitter. I know people say things like this all the time, but in this case it is literally true: without my Twitter audience; without their reactions and comments; without Twitterโ€™s character limit; without the current events and snippets of information scrolling alongside my narrative, Honeycomb could never have happened. In this case, the form and content and feel of the work was shaped by the medium and the audience. Even the idea of collecting these tales, rather than simply sending them out like all the other Twitter ephemera, came from you. Thanks to you, these stories have found their way into print; into illustration; into music, via the Storytime Band. They have their own life now, a life they owe at least in part to you. So thank you, little bluebirds. You make me very happy.

Thank you too to the fabulous Charles Vess, who agreed to be part of this project right at the start, and who has brought his own magic to the table. Thank you to Paul Marshall, Kevin Harris, and Matt Cundy, for helping me bring these tales to the stage. Thank you to my wonderful editor, Gillian Redfearn; my agent Jon Wood; to Joe Monti at Simon & Schuster, Jennifer Bergstrom, Jennifer Long, Caroline Pallotta, Allison Green, Jaime Putorti, Alexandre Su, Kaitlyn Snowden, LJ Jackson, Madison Penico, Harriet Bourton, Brendan Durkin, Jen Hope, Paul Hussey, Paul Stark, Leanne Oliver, Will Oโ€™Mullane, and Esther Waters. And of course, as always, to the booksellers, bloggers, Instagrammers, and YouTubers who bring so much enthusiasm to these projects, and to whom we owe so much.

And lastly, to you, the reader, thank you for following me this far. Weโ€™re going on another ride. I hope you enjoy the journey.
