“Great! I can’t wait to get started,” I say happily. We go back to eating our breakfast in silence.

Chapter Twelve - Mylah

After Breakfast is over, Kyst and I go to our separate rooms. I lie back on the bed and stare up at the ceiling. I’m not quite overwhelmed, but I have definitely never experienced feelings like these before. I feel loved, cared for, and safe here with him. Kyst has been nothing but kind to me since we first met. It’s a beautiful feeling, but also very new to me. No one has ever shown me this much affection before, not even my parents.

I sit up on the bed and look around the room. I already know that I like it here. It’s not about the physical aspects. It’s about the environment here that Kyst has created with his caring and kindness. It’s also about how safe I feel with Kyst. The help he wants to offer my business and me is mind-blowing. No one has ever done that before. It’s nice not to feel alone in the world for once.

I swing my feet in the air as I think about this. Thinking about feeling safe with Kyst leads me to think about the first time he held me, and I cried. I smile as I recall how strong and secure his arms felt as they wrapped around me. His muscular arms, attached to that gorgeous body. The way his eyes are both calm and serious at the same time. The more I think about him, I realize that I am ready. He is the one for me. I definitely want to lose my virginity to him. I couldn’t picture anyone more perfect.

The following day, it’s late morning when I wake up. I overslept. I spent all of yesterday in the room thinking about Kyst. I think I even dreamt of him when I finally fell asleep. I walk across the room to the bedroom door and open it. Everything is quiet. I walk down the hall and search for him. I can see the light on in his office. It's shining under the closed door, so he must be in there. I take a deep breath for courage. Now is my chance.

I walk over to the office and knock gently on the door. “Come in,” Kyst says after a moment.

Slowly I open the door. “I hope I’m not disturbing you?” I ask.

“Not at all, come in,” Kyst says again. He looks up from his papers and gives me a smile. He is in his usual good mood. I walk into the office and close the door behind me.

“Did you sleep well?” Kyst asks, making conversation. His eyes are on his papers again.

“Yes. Very well, thanks.”

I take a few steps forward and stand there. Suddenly I feel very awkward. My whole plan was to come up here and seduce him, but I have no idea how to do that.

“I’m glad to hear it,” Kyst says, giving me another smile before looking away again.

I’m trying to come up with a different idea. I need to do this fast before I lose my nerve and opportunity. I take a few steps closer to him. “So, you’re working today?” I ask lamely.

“Yes, just going over some paperwork that I have been putting off for a while now,” Kyst replies. He doesn’t even look up this time.

I start to panic. I’m blowing my opportunity. I don’t know what to do, so I make a desperate decision. I pull off my t-shirt and stand directly at the edge of his desk.

He looks up at my approach and does a double-take. The paperwork is suddenly forgotten. I look at the ground and start to blush. I wonder if this was too much.

The room is silent for several seconds. Then, finally, Kyst slowly rises to his feet. He gently reaches for me and pulls me to him. “Were you trying to get my attention?” he asks softly. All I can do is nod my head. “Well, it definitely worked.”

I raise my gaze to look at him. He brings me in for a gentle kiss.
