Smiling proudly, I led my naked parade of babes toward Medical.
Major Akeso fell into step beside me.
“Hey,” I said to her. “Wait, did you just shower in Decon with us?”
“I did, my king,” she said with a curt smile.
I did not express my regret that I hadn’t seen her out of her uniform. I hadn’t even seen the major’s cleavage because her pink uniform always covered it. Major Akeso was a knockout, but she was so put together and downplayed her beauty, she was easy to overlook when surrounded by naked Shock Knights.
Akeso said, “Don’t worry, my king. None of their injuries are serious.” She meant the Shock Knights. “The broken bones will be easily repaired, and the other wounds are superficial.”
“That’s a relief,” I said sincerely.
“Most of your Shock Knights will be ready for duty as soon as tomorrow.”
I did not tell her they would be relieved of their duty to me by then. The reason I didn’t tell her was because I wasn’t entirely sure I wanted to leave Zalaxia, not after what had transpired in the shower after Theia started washing me… thoroughly.
Had it involved a hand-job from Captain Theia while standing under the dribbling shower spray? Had every other naked Shock Knight watched me surging into Theia’s hand while I grunted from the sheer pleasure? Had I made eye contact with several different women who were moaning and fingering themselves or each other while they watched Theia stroke me to a climactic conclusion? Had half of the Shock Knights gathered around to kneel at my feet like supplicants yearning for their blessing from my royal fountain? Had some reached out, wanting to touch it but holding back because they didn’t have Royal permission to touch my Royal Person? A permission I couldn’t give because, after four days of abstinence surrounded by an unending cavalcade of gorgeous babes — many of them constantly naked like the Shock Knights — women whose advances I had resisted despite my overwhelming masculine impulses to the contrary, resisted for the sake of a promise I had made to Oia, a promise that left me unable to entertain a single rational thought as Theia stroked me with practiced purpose, standing behind me, her full breasts pressing against my back, her one hand clawing passionately at my chest, her other lovingly caressing my scepter while I roared and made an explosive donation to the higher purpose of honoring my commitment to Oia, spilling every last drop of my seed at the feet of the gathered group of gorgeous women moaning with me, moaning in envy of Theia, and their only path to release was to touch themselves or touch each other and pout, biting their plump lips in frustration while watching my pearlescent drops dribble down the nearest drain like so much spent treasure and wasted gold?
Had any of that happened?
I’ll let you decide.
Akeso continued, “The rest will be back on duty within a week’s time.”
“The rest of what?” I asked absently, my mind still in the shower with my Shock Knights while Scepter twitched in remembrance. “Sorry. I’m exhausted.”
“I imagine you are,” Akeso said with a wry grin.
I couldn’t remember if she’d been part of my erotic audience or not, there had been so many of them.
Akeso smirked, “I was referring to your Shock Knights, my king.”
“Right.”
“They’ll be back on duty within a week.”
“Oh, good. Wait, wow. That fast? Even the women with broken bones?”
“Yes, my king. Thanks to our Microservs, repairing fractures is a quick, painless process.”
I didn’t mention that my rings could fix broken bones within minutes. For a second, I considered telling the major I could heal the Shock Knights myself, but then I hesitated. While I hadn’t felt any residual pain after fixing my own numerous broken bones on multiple occasions, I didn’t know if I was making slapdash repairs to my own bones that would come back to haunt me later in life. Knowing that Major Akeso did good work, I decided to trust her to fix the injured Shock Knights. Rushing things was never the best fix, and delegating to qualified professionals was an important part of effective leadership. I might not be the invincible hero the Zalaxian women wanted, but at least I wouldn’t be a bad bureaucrat.
“Thank you, Major,” I said. “Please keep me posted if anything changes or if you need any help with their care.”
“I will, my king. Do you have any injuries that need tending? I know I asked earlier, but it doesn’t hurt to ask twice.”
I stopped to look Akeso in the eyes.
Same as every time I looked at her, she was ridiculously attractive, the A-list actress posing as the dressed-down girl next door who never wore makeup until the climax of the movie when everyone found out she was stripper hot when she wanted to be. Having Akeso look at me with genuine interest and concern was incredibly flattering.
“Is something wrong?” Akeso asked.
“Not at all,” I smiled. “If I haven’t thanked you before, I want to thank you again for everything you’re doing here.”
“Just doing my job, my king,” Akeso said with her usual humble professionalism. But this time, a genuine smile crept onto her face and betrayed her serious demeanor. She reached up and curled a loose lock of hair behind her ear. It had fallen out of her usual tight regulation bun because it had chosen now to force the major to reveal a hint of interest.
Something about Major Akeso reminded me of one of my professors back at Caltech. Michelle Mendelssohn. She had Ph.D’s in Physics and Mechanical Engineering. Among other more specialized courses, she also taught Applied Physics and Thermodynamics to us undergrads. I’m not exaggerating when I say she looked like she belonged on the cover of Vogue. Not only did she dress like a model, she could easily pass for Charlize Theron. No surprise,
