“We have localcops on our payroll. Guard this fucking brothel likeyour life depends on it. It does. If anyone from the Skull Nation sets foot inthis town, don’t play games. Put them under the ground.”
Stitch nodded. Asdid Gabriel and Whisky.
Lord tapped Brickand they entered the brothel. The whores looked shockedto see him enter the grand foyer. He never handled the day-to-day operations oftheir businesses and rarely paid a visit. He ran a hand through his hair, theleather of his jacket creaking. “Are there any Skull Nation boys in here?”
Two younger whores, barely dressed, pointed up the stairs. They lookedterrified of him.
Brick grabbed oneof the girls by the arm, making her yelp. “Next time one of them tries to comein here, you call us. If I find out you’re fucking ourenemies, you’ll be out on the streets. Or worse.”
They made their wayup the winding staircase. Lord had his handgun at the ready.
One of the regularwhores came down the hall. He put a finger to hislips.
She knew rightaway what he wanted and pointed to the second door on the left. Lord smiled, knowing he was so close, and motioned her to get away.
They flanked thedoor. When Lord nodded, Brick kicked in the door. Two women were on the bed, aSkull Nation prick between them.
“Get the fuck out!”he yelled at the sluts. They’d be dealt with later.
Brick stood at theopposite side of the bed as the Skull Nation guy covered his cock with theblankets. He put up an arm in surrender.
Brick laughed. “Youthink our prez does mercy? You have some huge fucking balls coming to our whorehouse in ourtown.”
“Did you think I’dlet this continue forever?” asked Lord. He checked the chamber of his gun.
“You smoke me, there’llbe war.”
“You supposed tobe important?” asked Brick. “You look like any other dead man.”
“I’m the SkullNation Road Captain.”
“Will you look atthat. Royalty right in my own fucking house,” said Lord. Then he reached over and dragged him violently out of the bed by the hair, theblanket falling away. “If you think your status is supposed to impress me, you’rea stupid fucking boy. This is my town. I’m prez of the Straight to Hell MC.”
“And he doesn’t domercy,” said Brick.
The guy tried tofight him, but Lord was built like a brick shithouse. Hoursin the gym every day and a life built in the MC made him a brutal motherfucker. He punched him in the face, knocking him back.Over and over, they sparred, the guy’s face bleeding and swollen. Brick stoodon the sidelines, not saying a word.
“We know about Ally,”he said as he tried to get back up to his feet.
Lord yanked himup. “What did you just say?”
He laughed, histeeth red with blood. “How did you think we were able to take over this town? You’re too busy chasing pussy to realize how weak you’ve become. You’re a has-been.”
Lord beat the shit out of him, not holding back. “How do you know hername?” he shouted. “Tell me now or I’ll put a bullet in your head.”
“You shouldn’ttrust everyone in your house.” He laughed again.
This time, he pulledhis gun from the back of his waistband and put the barrel to the fucker’stemple. “See you in hell.” Then he pulled the trigger.
This was usual MCbusiness. Protecting territory was a full-time job, always had been, alwayswould be. Lord wasn’t shaken by the Skull Nation making a play because he’d dealwith it as he always did.
What he wasn’texpecting was to hear Ally’s name on his enemy’s lips. She wasn’t supposed tobe involved at all. The worlds were colliding and it didn’t sit well with him.
He didn’t realizehow long he stood there next to the body, his mind lost in thought.
“Boss, he’s justscrewing with you.”
Lord shook his head.“He knew her fucking name.”
“She’s safe.”
“He said there’s atraitor in the club. Any ideas?”
“Someone selling insideinformation? I’ll have to dig deeper.”
He took a deepbreath to calm himself. All he wanted to do was get back to Ally and see withhis own eyes that she was safe and unharmed.
“I want this pieceof shit thrown out on the main roadway. He’ll send a messageas we finish cleaning up this town.”
They left theroom. Lord was more shaken up than he realized. He couldn’t focus.
“Lord, how seriousare you about this girl? You know more than anyone that having a loved one is ahuge target. Our enemies prey on your weaknesses, andthey’ll use her against you. It’s already starting.”
“You think I’d puther over the good of the club?”
Brick shrugged. “You’veknown her less than a month. I’m just saying to make sure she’s worth it.”

Ally looked out thewindow again. It was getting late.
She was lonely andworried about Lord. At least he’d brought her along. It would have been worsebeing alone at the club where everyone hated her. She didn’t feel safe without Lordaround.
It had been nearlya week since he’d taken her virginity. At least he hadn’t dumped her. She’dbeen worried that was all he wanted from their arrangement.
He’d been in meetingsall week with his club. She could feel the tension. This rival club was infiltratingtheir turf, and now Lord was going to deal with it. Yes, she worried about him. What if he never came back to her?
From what she’dseen so far, people either hated him or feared him. He had a rough personality. And probably deserved what he got out of people. With her, he behaveddifferently. She saw the good in him, and he probably needed that.
He said he wantedto keep her rather than fulfilling their original terms. Lord wanted her formore than a plaything now, but for how long? Was she a new pet or was the MC prez capable of real love?
When she heard thefamiliar sound of bike engines purring, the sound carried all the way down toher pussy. It reminded her of Lord. She couldn’t see any bikes from the window,so she hoped it was him finally returning to her.
Minutes later, therewas a scuffle in the hallway. The walls seemed to shudder as bodies were rammedagainst them. She didn’t dare open the door, even though her nerves andcuriosity were driving her crazy.
The sound of
