I want you to be happy, I need to see you happy. We had many, many happy sexy years together, but baby, you deserve to find love again. I demand it in fact.
I laugh at her ordering me from beyond the grave. That was my Jenn, bossy as old boots and as tough as old leather. Looking back down at the paper I continue reading.
You have a family/club that loves and supports you, they will be there no matter what. If I was taken from you by force, then I do expect you to kill the fucker but do not get yourself dead while doing it. Take a brother or five, do not go at it alone, baby.
My ultimate wish, is for you to find love, a love like ours and more. Become a husband to an amazing feisty, sassy woman. Become a daddy that I know you will be proud of. You have enough love and loyalty to have another love in your life, so please share it around.
I will always love you, Jonny, always, but now you need to spread that love.
Yours always, Jenn. xx
I let out a breath that I didnโt know I was holding and suck much needed air into my lungs. Using my thumb and forefinger I pinch my eyes before wiping away the tears with the back of my hand.
Setting the box and the letter down on my seat, I look up to the sky and smile, throwing Jenn a wink before looking back at the building, where I know Eden sits.
Shaking my head, I turn my back to the building and my heart is beating like crazy in my chest, my palms sweaty. My breaths are short and sharp as I think over everything. Losing Jenn, killing her killers, becoming a Nomad to meeting Eden at a random time in life.
Did Jenn lead me here? It was when I was stopped at the crossroads that I decided to turn left, because the sun hit that part of the highway, making me turn my bike in that direction that in turn made me stumble across the Road Hound.
Fate.
The word pops into my head and I shake it off. Fate was the one thing that Jenn lived by. She always used to say that everything happens for a reason. If someone came into your life, it was because they served a purpose to be there.
A part of me still thinks that I canโt love another woman, Jenn still owns my heart, she was my Old Lady, my wife. I think if I could have died right there with her that day, I would have but the boys got to me first and locked me down.
They watched over me twenty-four-seven to make sure that I didnโt join my woman in the afterlife. It took a few weeks to snap me out of it and my vision turned red and I went Nomad.
Now Iโm not so hateful, but I still think my heart is dead inside, I have nothing to offer a woman like Eden. She deserves someone who will give her everything she could ever want, a sturdy man, kids.
Thinking of her with another man has bile churning in my gut, like it did when I thought about it days ago. Fuck me, I am one fucked up man with no one to sort him out.
You have Eden.
The voice in my head is louder and familiar this time. Shaking her voice from my head, I walk around to the main door and push it open, stepping into a once again dark room thatโs filled with smoke, the smell of stale beer, and classic rock music.
Something settles in my chest when I see Eden standing by the bar, smiling at a couple. Fuck me, she is beautiful.

Eden must sense me because she looks up and our gazes connect, in an instant her back goes straight, her shoulders go back, and the pissed off look on her face tells me that I fucked up.
Keeping her gaze locked on me I step closer to the bar and sit down on an empty stool and wait for her to come to me and thank fuck she doesnโt keep me waiting.
I brace for her fury, and thankfully she doesnโt disappoint me.
โWhat are you doing here?โ Her voice is flat and firm. Her lips are pressed into a flat line, not the regular plump lips that look fucking amazing around my cock.
โThought I would stop in for a drink.โ She gives a nod and I swear I see a flash of disappointment in her eyes, but it is gone just as quick as it comes.
I watch as she walks away and comes back with a bottle of beer, slamming it down on the bar top. It froths up and over the bottle neck, but I drink it back anyway, not giving a fuck that it is more than likely flat now.
โDrink and leave,โ she states, folding her arms across her chest, pushing her tits up drawing my attention.
She shakes her head at me, after noticing what Iโm looking at and dropping her arms to her sides. I smirk at her but clearly it is the wrong thing to do. She leans forward on the bar, resting her palms on the end, locking her elbows, and glaring at me in the eyes.
โThe attention, or the smirk will not work on me again, Jonny. Been there, done that, learned my fucking lesson. You see, Jonny, I demand respect and you showed me none. You snuck out of my house like a little bitch and I havenโt seen you for nearly three weeks.
