I quickly do the math in my head, and with Halloween just a few days away, it means the wedding will be in a little over two months. I don’t know much about weddings, but I know they normally take a lot longer to plan. But then again, their entire relationship has been a whirlwind, so it makes sense for them not to wait around to get married. And I know wholeheartedly that this is what my brother wants. I sense it in a way only a twin can sense.

I see it for just one moment, the way Ally’s face blanches in horror. Ally might think she hates me, but I know that Remi is rooting for us, and this is her perfect way of getting us to spend more time together. She just glares at me before turning back to Remi. “For you, I’d do anything. Even if it means spending time with Mr. STD over there,” she says, swiping a glance at me.
