Her taste was as unique as the woman herself, and I wanted more and more of her. As much as she chose to gift me with.

“You came?” Oaklee asked, sounding tired but sated.

“There was no stopping me, baby, your moans alone could make me come, but with your tight cunt squeezing the life out of my fingers, I had no fucking chance of stopping.”

Giggling, Oaklee turned her face up to look at me, the dreamy look in her green eyes stroking my ego.

“Do you want me to—” I leaned down and kissed her lips chastely, cutting her off from offering to suck my dick or perhaps offer me a hand job. Not that I wouldn’t cut off my own arm right now to feel her lips wrapped around my shaft because I so fucking would. Tonight was about small steps, granted getting Oaklee close to naked and finger fucking her wasn’t exactly a first date practice for me, and I was guessing Oaklee, too. But I was only made of flesh and blood, and she was so fucking tempting.

“No, baby, we have plenty of time for more later on. Don’t think I didn’t get anything from what just happened, Oaklee, what we just did was without a doubt the hottest thing I have ever done with a woman—ouch! What the fuck, Temptress?” I shouted when Oaklee sunk her teeth into my pec muscle, and not in a sexy out of control way; rather, the wanted to inflict pain on me kind of way.

“Please don’t talk about other women and what you have or haven’t done with them while my girlie bits are still pulsing in orgasmic bliss, Rambo,” Oaklee bit out but soothed the bite with a long, languid lick of her warm tongue.

“Fully noted,” I chuckled, pressing a kiss to the top of her head.

“What happens now, Cole, with us?” Oaklee whispered worriedly, no doubt thinking about my promise to my father. I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t playing on my mind also, and I would definitely be bullshitting myself if I said I wasn’t worried about it. Dad rarely laid down the law, so when he did, you sat up and took notice and did as you were told. But, like I already admitted, Oaklee had me throwing out the rule book. I wanted her, craved her, needed her.

No matter the consequences.

Placing two fingers under her chin, I lifted her face until she gave me her eyes. The depth of her green eyes was so stunning, so brilliant; I had to remind myself to breathe. Her beauty both mesmerised and terrified me, captivating me to the point where I was about to defy the man I honoured and respected more than any person on the planet.

Dropping my lips to hers, I kissed her with a softness and gentleness only Oaklee could pull from me.

“We begin, baby; from this second we are now beginning. I just have to figure out what that is going to look like for the immediate future, until I talk to my father.”

“Not a conversation you want to have just yet, hey?” Oaklee surmised with a grin, but I could see the concern behind her jovial tone.

“It’s not that, baby, don’t think I don’t want to show you off or anything fucked up like that.” I rushed to assure her. “It’s just that Dad is my hero, and he never asks for anything from us. I need to find out why he warned me off you in the first place and work from there.” Kissing her again, I tried to absorb the worry from her and make it mine. I didn’t want her to worry, to think less of herself or to doubt her worth to me. My feelings for her were real, not a fantasy of a lost night I barely remembered, but real firm feelings I had not had before.

I wasn’t going to lose that. No fucking way.

I’d tasted her, heard her moaning for me, felt her come for me. And remembered every second of it this time.

No promise was going to come between my Temptress and me. Not now.

CHAPTER TEN

OAKLEE

“You’re going for the whole weekend?” Thayer shouted at me from the loungeroom, “The whole weekend?”

Stuffing a bikini into my duffel bag, I laughed and nodded even though Thayer couldn’t see me.

“Yes, Thayer. The whole weekend,” I affirmed, looking around my room, making sure I’d packed everything needed for two days at the beach. Cole informed me in a text we will be taking his bike, so I had to pack light.

Nothing like giving a woman a challenge, Rambo.

“What am I supposed to do for forty-eight hours while you go have coitus with the hot soldier?” Thayer asked, coming into my room and throwing herself face down on my bed.

“I mean seriously, Oaks, are you really keeping your relationship secret, not telling anyone in the Club? You two just going to take off every time you want to bang?”

Thayer had a way about her; I liked to call it as subtle as a house brick to the face. Not one to beat around the bush, she also didn’t know the meaning of how to finesse a conversation. I loved her for it most of the time, especially when it was directed at someone other than me.

Frowning at my annoying and brash bestie, I slumped down on the bed and sighed.

“I can always depend on you, Thayer, to say it like it is, but in this case, you are wrong.”

“Explain it to me again,” Thayer demanded. “How are you in a relationship if you can’t be seen together around his family?”

“It’s not like it will be forever. Cole and I worked it out last night—”

“After he gave you an orgasm to end all orgasms,” Thayer interrupted, fanning her hand over her face.

“Yes, after that,” I replied drolly, regretting telling her the details of my night with Cole. “Anyhoo … we aren’t keeping it a secret forever,
