βA special pinky promise,β she gasped in awe. βThose are really special, Max.β
βI know,β I grinned and waited for her to link her pinky with mine. When she did, I said, βI promise that those bad men will never hurt you again. They will never find you, never look for you, never see you and if you need me, look for the Golden Skulls. We will always come, always find you, and protect you. Forever.β
βWow.β
Remi, 12 years laterβ¦
I stumbled, hand over knees, blindly in whatever direction I could think to go in first, coughing as bile still seeped out of my throat. My knees were raw and bleeding, weak as I tried desperately to get away. Off in the distance, I heard the shouts and calls of the men behind me as they tried to find me through the brush. They were getting closer. Each barely contained retching breath I took threatened to reveal where I was if I was not careful.
Another cough and splutter escaped again as I expelled more bile from my body. I could feel my sticky, damp legs dripping as my ass and pussy did the same. Exhausted, my legs gave way as I crawled haphazardly, falling, breathlessly to the ground.
βNo,β I chided myself desperately, βI canβt do this again. Get up, Remi. You are strong. You can do this.β
With barely renewed effort, I scrambled back up and continued to crawl away as fast as my tired limbs could take me. The men, and even a few women, called out to me in horrifyingly soothing voices, among the loud, demanding roars and screams.
βRemi, we will catch you. We donβt want to hurt you.β
I knew that was total bullshit. My body was still tense and leaking from what they did to me, still aching from the endless torture. My pussy and ass continued to seep with all the fluid they forcefully pumped into my petite body.
Looking over my shoulder, I sighed as one of the men started to catch up to me. I slowed my movement. I didnβt want to risk him seeing the shuffle of the grass. Thankfully, it was only one man who made his way this far, his face contorted in the relentless search rather than shouting. I thought that he would be like the other idiots and simply pass over me, which was hope against hope at this point. I turned away from him, barely able to see past the tall grass, but my blurred eyes could still see that there was a downhill slope somewhere up ahead where I could gain distance by rolling down. I pushed my burning body to move faster. My breathing was becoming heavier as I struggled along with barely half my strength. Finally, I came upon the hill and plunged down.
The tall, damp grass cut at my body and pulled at my arms painfully, but I reached the bottom with a second to catch my breath before a shout came from above that sent chills down my spine.
βI have tracks! She crawled this way!β
My naked breasts still heaved while I gasped. If they had tracks, then I had little choice but to keep moving. It would be harder for them to locate where I went after my little tumble, but only if I pushed myself away now. Sweat made my long blonde curly hair cling to my face as I forced myself to keep moving, running swiftly out of adrenaline as I shuffled through the grass. Several more men shouted as they ran towards my general direction. They would be on me soon. Knowing that my life as I knew it depended on my next actions, I made myself crawl faster.
I grunted and crawled, still too weak or scared to think of standing yet. Several men started to pass by me, barely missing my sensitive, mud-covered body through their aimless searching. In my delirious state of wild fleeing, all I could do was be thankful that these people were trained to capture the innocent, not the escaped.
Panting and crawling, I was forced to collapse on the spot for risk of spending myself and roll into a pit of mud amongst some tall, thick shrubbery to better hide. I slowed my heavy breaths and listened when I heard a voice that sounded horribly familiar. I turned to see none other than the man who started all my nightmares many, many years ago.
βCome on, darling! You are too old to be playing hide and seek!β
Tears stung my eyes as I remembered what seemed like so long ago when he played simple games like that with me. Now he would just as soon drag me back if I dared try to reveal myself and try to convince me otherwise. How many others were here, I thought? So many others, lost and forgotten, never to be found again. There was nothing I could for them. Biting back heavy sobs, unable to stop the slight sniffle, I made her way away from the horrible sight.
I moved through the sludge as the thick swamp became slowly denser. It was now impossible to tell the difference between sweat building on my skin or if it were the mud splashed all around me as I made my way as fast as I could again. After the quick rest, it had proven impossible to move far before exhaustion retook me, and I fell over. The thick mud, near-blindness that and both my tired state coupled with the unearthly humidity made it impossible to remember which way I was supposed to go.
The voices of my pursuers faded slowly into the distance, and after resting on a soft patch of moss to regain my breath, I felt confident enough and strong enough to stand and lean against a nearby tree. Bracing myself, I rose to my shaking legs and looked around warily, prepared to fall back into the deep mud at any moment, but it looked as though I was alone.
