few others had to give speeches too for their candidacy for student president. She was extremely nervous on giving a speech for the very first time in her life, but it was something she always wanted to try out. Dressed in a formal black suit with a white shirt and bowtie, she walked out of the gym lockers and approached the stand with the microphone in front of the arranged seating of bleachers, as students started to come in, since it was mandatory for them to come in for the first 10 to 15 minutes of their lunch break.

She saw more and more students coming to the bleachers but no sign of Tracy, Allison, Veronica, Luis nor Aiden. She sighed sadly, knowing deep down that they all got called down to the office, after she witnessed Luis having a garbage bag of stolen pencils/pens, Veronica looking severely sick and Allison’s accusation of her cheating. Sandra could not believe that her true friends were showing their true colors, she was utterly disappointed in them. She knew them all her life, but out of nowhere they suddenly became abnormal, she said to herself that there had to be an explanation behind this. The Trinity Guys and other classmates that she knew, even the child prodigy Maddox arrived at the assembly. She sighed in disappointment and thought, well at least Sam, Tom and James came, so did Maddox. She was disappointed that her close friends did not come at all, since that was the main point of her looking forward to this school speech that she was about to make.

She nervously stared at the crowd of students as they sat there in silence waiting for her to start her speech. An entire minute passed by, she really did not want to do the speech since her close friends were not even there to help motivate her, but she had to do it, or else she would end up as an embarrassment in the entire school. Taking a deep breath, she let out her calm voice and spoke out loud into the mic.

β€œWelcome students and staff,” Sandra said. β€œI am Sandra Richards. I am glad that all of you could attend this assembly regarding me as a candidate for this year’s student president of 2020. Thank you all for coming, as you know, I am a potential candidate for student president of 2020, here I will talk about my proposed changes to our learning environment.”

The entire assembly clapped as Sandra finished her sentence. She could not believe it; she made a speech first time in her life in front of a crowd. The crowd did not just consist of 11th graders (her age), it also had 9th, 10th and 12th graders (seniors), alongside with staff of the school. She took another deep breath and proceeded with her speech in confidence but was still disappointed to not see her close friends or β€œformer” close friends, after what she heard or saw of them happen, especially Luis, Veronica and Allison, her classmates.

β€œAs you know,” Sandra continued confidentially. β€œI am planning on-.”

THUD! SMASH!

The entire assembly including her went silent, as the school vibrated and shook, it was coming from the side entrance, it was the sound of a huge blast, as if an explosion suddenly went off. But in this part of the gymnasium where the assembly took place, it only felt a vibration of that attack, while Sandra was about to continue her speech. She was still curious on what that sound or vibration was that just occurred.

β€œExcuse me,” Sandra spoke. β€œHave no idea what that was. As I was saying, I am planning on expanding-.”

BLAST! SMASH!

The doors and cemented walls surrounding the gymnasium lockers exploded. The entire assembly screamed and were scared on what was going on, as the staff and everyone else was running out of the room. The staff yelled at the students to evacuate the gymnasium immediately, out of the school too. The fire alarm went off, as the explosion from the gymnasium lockers was covered in heavy grey smoke. Sandra was near the entrance. The blast made her fall down on the stage, causing her regular pair of glasses’ lenses to crack.

As she got up, while storing away her broken Helvetica Bold type glasses into her pocket, she saw a figure coming out of the smoke from the gymnasium locker. The figure was standing like a human being, but it was not human at all. It stood there with its entire body made of onyx like black prismatic texture but this time with red linings of lasers surrounding its body. Its head was a triangular prism, the entire figure’s skin and material looked remarkably familiar to Sandra for some odd reason. As she hid behind the stand on the stage, witnessing the white prismatic streaks fading away on the figure, forming into laser red linings instead. She immediately knew what that figure was, it was made out of the material of the prismatic cube that she found in the lost and found yesterday.

But why did the cube suddenly transform into a human like prismatic figure? The figure had no eyes, no nose, no facial features of a human being, it was all simply made of the mix of glossy black onyx and prismatic marble material, his head was a triangular prism, but it was not a prism type head, Sandra thought. His head was a triangular based pyramid, the red laser linings began to spread through his body around his chest, legs, feet, and hands, including his triangular based head.

The entire assembly evacuated except Sandra remained hidden from the mysterious figure. She wanted to escape the gymnasium before the figure saw her, as the prism headed figure was heading around the gymnasium looking to see if anyone was still here. She stood still, waiting for him to forget about the assembly eventually so she could make her escape,
