I thought you were going to propose.” She lets out a nervous giggle, wiping away at her wet cheeks.

“Sorry, baby. Just your run-of-the-mill move-in-with-me proposal.” I grin. “So, will you?”

She nods her head. “Yes, I will move to Boston with you.”

She flings herself at me, wrapping her arms around my shoulders as she slams a kiss on my lips. I lift myself to both knees, bringing her tighter into me as I lose myself in her perfect mouth.

God, I missed her lips.

A second later, she pulls back, gazing at me with her pretty blues.

“I’m still angry with you,” she confesses, and I nod.

“I know. I’m angry with me, too.”

“However, I do forgive you for being a complete and utter douche bag.” She grins, brushing her hands through my hair.

“I can’t promise it won't happen again, but I will promise to spend the rest of our lives making it up to you for all the times I will be a douche bag.”

“With lattes?”

“What else?” I say with a chuckle, nuzzling my nose with hers.

“God, I love you,” she says with a sigh, looking at me with nothing but adoration.

I hope she always looks at me like that. If she does, I will be the happiest man on this earth.

“I love you, too.” I squeeze her close to me, never wanting distance between us ever again.

“Forever, Blake?”

“Forever, baby.”
