Kaily weakened with desire beneath his touch as she craved more. She tried to press her hips against his hand inviting him to plunge his finger deeper.
He lifted his head and smiled at down at her. "Deeper?"
Kaily nodded unable to speak.
He pushed his finger in deeper.
Kaily moaned in protest as he withdrew it again.
He laughed. "What do you want?"
"I don't know." she felt breathless. "Just more."
He slowly pressed two fingers into her opening.
Kaily arched her back in pleasure and closed her eyes. She opened them when his forward progress stopped. When her eyes locked with his he pressed deeper and then stopped. Kaily groaned in protest and in frustration.
"Deeper?"
"Please," Kaily tried to lift her hips. It didn't do any good. He kept his fingers as deep as they penetrated and no more. She couldn't deny he controlled the situation. Nothing she could do about it. "Please!" She said again.
His soft laughter caressed her as he pushed his fingers in deeper and deeper. His forward penetration stopped, and his brow furrowed.
A frown crossed her features. "What's the matter?"
He didn't answer. Instead, he pushed his fingers in as deep as he could and felt around as if looking for something. The pleasure in his touch began to wane and his probing became uncomfortable.
"Nothing." He withdrew his fingers. He kissed her and caressed her cheek. "Nothing," he repeated. "I didn't expect to find you untouched." He said.
Kaily's frown deepened and she looked away. "Oh." What did that matter? She didn't give voice to the frustration she suddenly felt. She felt a barrier form between them, separating them again. It wasn't quite as bad as when he ignored her the evening before, but it was close.
He didn't force her to look at him. "I took some time to explore parts of your world, and there seemed to be a different viewpoint about intimacy on your world than there is on mine. It pleases me to find you untouched."
Kaily looked back at him but didn't reply. She didn't know what to say. She couldn't read his features to tell what he felt or thought. If it pleased him so much, why wasn't he still touching her? She didn't understand why her being untouched broke the spell between them. Not to mention that just a moment before he didn't appear to mind the intimacy. A frustrated sigh escaped her before she could stop it.
"It does please me to know that no one touched you."
He wasn't frowning any longer, but his expression held something she couldn't decipher. Something changed, but for the life of her she didn't know what other than not having been touched. "So, why don't you want to," Kaily's blush deepened and she looked away, "you know."
"Touch you?"
Kaily nodded.
"It is not with my finger that I want to penetrate and break your barrier."
Her gaze traveled downward. Although she could not see the part she wanted to see, they both knew why she looked down.
He lowered her dress and covered her with his body. He pressed his full, hard shaft against the material of her dress where moisture pooled between her legs, giving an unspoken voice to just how prepared she was for him to enter her.
Kaily opened her legs as much as she could. It was the only way she could think to let him know she wanted him to take her without saying the words. He pinned her so she couldn't wrap her legs around his hips as she wanted to do.
"It would be so easy," he said more to himself as he pressed and rubbed against her. "So easy," he said.
Kaily frowned, "I don't understand." She said. "Please, I want you to." She closed her eyes. "I need you too." She admitted in a barely audible voice.
A sudden burst of curse words from her dark warrior startled her. It sounded like curses. The Kahoali language and words didn't always make a lot of sense to her.
"What did I do wrong?"
"Nothing." He rolled to his back taking her with him. He settled her so she lay half on him. "Nothing." He draped his trousers over his waist covering his blatant desire for her.
"Please tell me what I did wrong?" Kaily tried to look at him, but he closed his eyes. He guided her head to lie on his shoulder as he cradled her next to his body. "Moto, please." It was the first time she spoke his name aloud to him. She felt tears sting the back of her eyes.
"It's not you." He said but didn't offer any more explanation or comfort. She could tell from his tone he felt exasperated and as frustrated as she did.
A painful silence settled between them. Kaily didn't know what she did wrong, but she felt at fault despite his words to the contrary. She'd done something. "I'm sorry."
"You have nothing to apologize for, little one." He patted her back as if to comfort her. "I will give you release to ease your arousal if you wish."
Kaily shook her head. She couldn't speak for the burning in her eyes and throat.
He let out a sigh of frustration.
Kaily tried to hold back the tears that threatened to fall. She didn't want to cry, not in front of him, but she couldn't help it. The loss of his touch and the loss of the moment between them pushed her past her ability to cope. She felt rejected. The tears came and she lacked the strength to hold them back.
He sat up
