got that silver fox look. Meg is a hottie too.”

“Lucky Gail,” said Marci. “That’s a picture worth a thousand words.”

“I know.”

“What picture is that?” I asked.

“Think of it, Ryan.” She sat up and placed her legs in a lotus position. “If you imagine them together, what are they doing?”

“That’s what I can’t figure out,” said Susan. “Are they sixty-nining? Using strap-ons?”

“They probably do what we do,” I said. “A little bit of everything.”

“Sixty-nining? I don’t know,” said Marci. “I never got that. One of you has to enjoy it, right? You can’t if you’re both doing it to each other.”

“I like it,” said Susan. “There’s something wicked about it.”

This was something upon which Susan had never shared her views. We had done it, of course, during the early years, but it was no longer on our program.

“Do you do it with Greg?” asked Marci.

“Marci!” I noted that she hadn’t jump right in with a “No!”.

“Ryan and I don’t. I don’t think we ever have.”

She was mistaken, but it wasn’t the sort of thing I could easily correct for the record. I remembered it well. We were in Chicago, and the weather had been horrible. We’d stayed in bed for an entire day doing all sorts of things.

“Ryan knows you and Greg have sex, Susan.”

“I know, but…”

“It’s okay, honey,” I said. “I can take it.”

“Well, kinda, and only once. It just sort of happened.”

“Kinda?” said Marci. “Like, you climbed into bed wrong, and landed that way?”

Susan laughed. “No! I mean it was different.” She looked at me before continuing. “It was on the sofa at the condo. He was sitting, and I kind of sat backwards on his face and then, you know, bent over to do my thing for him.”

“That is different,” said Marci. “What do you think, Ryan? Should we give it go?”

“Not here,” I said. I was stuck on the image of my naked wife sitting backwards on Greg’s face while she went down on him. It was both a tormenting and an exhilarating vision.

“That could work for women too,” said Marci. “I think it’d be better that way, actually. Lying in bed, one of you gets a really sucky view.”

“It’s still the same view for both of you,” I said. “You’re not imagining it correctly.”

She gave it further thought. “Oh, yeah. I guess you’re right.”

In general, I tried not to think of the view she was referring to. I was sure it was why the good Lord gave us eyelids.

“This discussion sure took a turn,” said Susan, with a chuckle.

“I think we were talking about Meg and Gail,” said Marci. “We got sidetracked.”

“Is Gail pretty?” asked Susan.

“She’s attractive,” I said. “Maybe a little butch.”

“It’s the hair,” said Marci. “She’s got a pixie cut.”

“Those can be cute,” said Susan. “Meg’s girly. I bet she lets Gail run the show.”

“I can’t imagine Gail eating me out,” said Marci. “It makes me think of the first person who ever ate a snail. I mean, that took some balls. Then again, I do like snails. I think it’s the garlic, though.”

Susan laughed.

“Marci,” I said. “You’re taking things out of context, like the view during oral sex. Thinking about that stuff subjectively in broad daylight is a lot different from when you’re with someone you love, and in the moment. You want to give the other person pleasure. You put the other stuff out of mind.”

“Oh, that’s sweet, honey,” said Susan. “That’s exactly right.”

“Yeah,” said Marci. “I guess so. But I not sure I could eat a woman.” I noted the uncertainty. She could have just said she couldn’t do it.

“I’m disappointed, Marci,” said Susan, sighing.

Though I knew she was joking that was also an interesting comment.

“We need another pitcher, honey,” Susan held up the empty one. “All this sex talk dries a woman out… Oh, that sounded funny!” She giggled at her comment. “You know what I mean.”

Not seeing an attendant to hail, I walked over to the tiki bar to get the refill. As I approached it, I saw Harold and Meg aiming in my direction and waited for them to catch up.

“Hey there,” said Harold. “Looks like you’re thirsty.”

“Hi! We’re in the cabana over there.” I pointed and saw Marci wave a hello. For no good reason, I was startled to see she was topless. I’d forgotten they both removed their tops. Meg waved and went to join them.

“So we’re all up to speed then?” asked Harold.

“Yes. Susan knows everything.”

“Was she surprised?”

“Not that much actually. She knew about the sauna business already, and we connected the dots from there.”

“Good.”

“Are daiquiris okay with you?”

“Sure. I should get a pitcher too.”

We returned well stocked with beverages and poured fresh drinks all around. Two topless women returning from a swim gave us nice smiles and said hello. The sky was clear, the sea beautiful, the breeze perfect, plus Susan and Marci were also topless.

It was a nice atmosphere all around.

With some minor fuss, we arranged ourselves so could all sit in the cabana and face each other. It was taking some effort for my mind to get a grip on Susan’s naked breasts being so close to Harold, who seemed entirely cool. Meg, wearing a sexy two-piece, left her top on. Of course, I was eager for her to take it off, proving I was at heart still a young teenage boy with a surfeit of hormones. As it was, she looked very sexy in her two-piece. She was smaller busted than Marci and Susan, and though several years older, looked just as firm of flesh.

The women fell into a discussion about a shop in town Meg had taken a fancy to, and from there it drifted into their preferred boutiques back home. I was mesmerized by the jiggling naked breasts and immense suspense of waiting for Meg to remove her top.

Harold and I listened as we sipped our daiquiris, both content for the lovely company and our general good fortune. As our second pitcher neared empty, I noted Chloe had shifted
