luminescent juices squirted out onto his hips.

His own release followed, pulsing out into her tightening cunny.

When he was thoroughly relieved, William floated upward. Weightless, he felt perfectly calm, if a bit tired — dead tired. Water grew heavy in his lungs and each breath came slower.

William closed his eyes for a moment.

Something pushed at his back. Warm night air met his face and William realized he was drowning. In a jolt of panic, he puked water.

“Please forgive me, William.” Rulu had an expression of pained worry as she squished his cheeks. “I did not realize the mucus’ effect had expired this quickly. I did not…”

William laughed between his coughs, pushing back his wet hair as he sat on the edge. “Relax. I’m fine. More than fine. I’ve less puking to do tomorrow. Hey, do you mind fishing up my clothes? I’d like to waddle back to bed.”

“May I join?” she asked, a hopeful glimmer in her eyes.

“I thought you needed water to sleep?”

“It is my typical preference, but not tonight.” She gave him a small smile and he could not say no.

That night’s sleep was one of extreme comfort.

With his head between two pairs of boobs, William stirred to a distant sound of knocking and muted ruckus. He gave the two butts gropes before standing up and knew that he had made at least one decision right in life.

The knocking repeated as William pulled tight his pants. “Yeah yeah, Ranger coming. Who is it?”

William opened the door. A figure stood outside, shrouded in the pale blue of pre-dawn. He was tall, easily seven feet, nude, with dark cerulean skin. In his grip hung a weakly breathing Nevija, whose body was a painting of violence in shades of bruise and red.

“I am Ishaiolthess, the voice of Yutulhu Al R’lyeh — the Great Dreamer of All Depths and Empress of the R’lyeh Dynasty.” Ishaiolthess dropped the miarii on the ground. Though his voice was a distorted echo, it held confidence and strength. “And I come to you, Ranger of Nastall, to exchange one criminal for another. Hand over Rulu and I shall leave these shores untouched.”

Sea breeze whistled through the ruins, lifting off the long mattress of black tendrils draped around Ishaiolthess’ shoulders. His black eyes were wide open and locked on William in an unsettling blinkless stare.

“So, you are the leviathan?” William swallowed, slowly moving his hand to hover on the hilt of his hammer.

“A leviathan,” Ishaiolthess replied, his voice a calm undulation of distant waves. His demeanor showed patience afforded only to those with strength to exercise their will and whim. A beastly presence dwelled behind his eyes, as if he were a monster in a man-suit, waiting for an opportunity to lunge at his prey. So this was a leviathan — the thing that had haunted Rulu across the realms and brought the mind blasting monster of a princess to shivers of fear. William’s neck hairs recognized the threat.

“Right,” William coughed nervously, glancing at the stairs behind him. Get up girls. Get up and get ready for a fight. He raised his voice in hopes of waking them up, “You’re smaller than I assumed.”

He returned William’s stare. “I grow when necessary.”

“Sure you do buddy.” William glanced at the leviathan’s tool and at the barely breathing Nevija. “Listen, Ishai, I’ll call you Ishai if that’s alright.”

“It is an acceptable compromise, given the limitations of your tongue.”

“Ishai…” William scratched his neck, wrapping fingers around the hilt of his hammer. “Look, while I appreciate you bringing in Nevija, I don’t think I can hand Rulu over. She has clearly fought hard to leave you behind. Couldn’t you just let her go?”

“I can not.” Ishai moved his whole head to move his gaze to the hammer. Leaning closer to tower above William, the leviathan brought his face within the reach of a swing. His head moved again to stare over William’s shoulder. “She belongs to R’lyeh.”

“No…” Rulu’s knees gave out at the stairs and fins flared out abruptly. She made a whiny series of undulating groans, pressing her back against the wall.

Ishai replied with calm deep sounds, taking a step forward, but William held out his arm, blocking the door.

“I wish to make no quarrel with the Empire of Nibir,” Ishai said.

William began to pull out his hammer, licking his lips. “That’s unfortunate.”

“It would be.” He placed a hand on William’s left arm.

In the instant William pulled out his hammer, he rushed the ‘God give me strength’ and swung at Ishai’s skull.

A yank of force spun William’s world around. His guts jerked with sudden acceleration. The sky became below and ground the above and for a moment William felt weightless. He saw the top of the Ranger’s office’s tower, the tents in the camp next door, and the distant sunrise.

The ground below began to accelerate. He was about to take a four story fall.

“Fuck fuck Godhelpme-enduresuffering!”

William grit teeth, tried to land feet first and failed. His knees buckled in an awkward angle. A thunk reverberated through his bones. His spine felt like it was compressed in a hydraulic press, but, miraculously, William felt no pain. A faint taste of iron coated his teeth.

Ishai’s back was to him. He walked into the office, reaching for Rulu.

“Hold up!” William sprung to his feet, cut the distance, and swung. Ishai raised his arm. The head of the hammer sank an inch into the leviathan’s skin, but broke neither bones nor his calm posture. A silvery ripple of static flickered from the point of impact across Ishai’s body, a ripple similar to Rulu’s force field.

Crap, he is tanky AND a psychic?

“Rulu! Some help?” He pulled back the hammer and put his weight behind a kick aimed at Ishai’s torso. The guy felt like a boulder. William staggered backwards. The impact sent
