the mage might have been. They all knew there was an enemy out there and they were doing their best to be ready should the threat reemerge.

The Hilliard brothers were on the case, and they had been working with a very specialized shifter private detective that Ren had hired in consultation with Mark and Nick. Collin Hastings was a raptor, and they all believed that gave him a unique perspective when it came to solving mysteries. A birds-eye view, so to speak. Ren monitored everything they came up with and encouraged the trio to follow every lead. He would not tolerate any lingering threat to his mate, for she was his world now.

He could tell she was enjoying her moment in the glittering sun of Hollywood fame and he indulged her every whim. They went to premiers, they did very select interviews, they pursued interesting projects together, and were the “it” couple in the media all over the world. Especially after their very public, very glitzy wedding in St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York, attended by movie stars, billionaire businessmen and a plethora of restaurant owners and Katrina’s extended family. The reception after was one for the record books, and the party was covered by local and worldwide media as it stretched long into the night.

They spent their honeymoon on the island, then resumed life as international movie stars. They traveled widely and visited their New York penthouse whenever their schedule allowed, but when each day ended, they were always together. Man and wife in the eyes of man. Mates in the eyes of shifters. Friends, lovers and part of each other’s souls for all time.

About the Author

Bianca D’Arc has run a laboratory, climbed the corporate ladder in the shark-infested streets of lower Manhattan, studied and taught martial arts, and earned the right to put a whole bunch of letters after her name, but she’s always enjoyed writing more than any of her other pursuits. She grew up and still lives on Long Island, where she keeps busy with an extensive garden, several aquariums full of very demanding fish, and writing her favorite genres of paranormal, fantasy and sci-fi romance.

Bianca loves to hear from readers and can be reached through Twitter (@BiancaDArc), Facebook (BiancaDArcAuthor) or through the various links on her website.
