out, refusing to allow him to fall into the darkness that had likely consumed him then he would be here with us today, trying to pick up the pieces of his life.

Just like we’d all been forced to try to do.

Maybe he’d find the light that would bring him back.

Maybe…

In the three weeks since she’d returned, every aspect of my life had seemed brighter. Maybe it was that thing called love, something I never believed I deserved.

The sun even created a halo around the two of them. I shook my head as Beauty’s tail swished back and forth, her slight whinnying sounds ones of happiness.

There was nothing I could do to bring Snake back to his beloved mountains, but his memory would live on in the air I breathed, the water in the crystal clear rivers, and in the snowcapped mountains.

When she tipped her head, offering me a coy smile, I knew exactly what she was thinking. “Not a chance or I will spank your adorable ass.”

She sashayed in my direction, the wooden brush still in her hand. “You don’t own me, cowboy.”

“Oh, yeah?” Within three seconds, I hopped the fence, grinning as I chased after her, enjoying the sound of her laughter. When I yanked the brush from her hand, pulling her back against my chest, her squeal brought a ruckus of snorts from Beauty.

“Such a meanie. Even Beauty thinks so.”

I wrapped both arms around her, hugging her tightly and pressing my lips against her cheek. “If that keeps my babies safe, then that’s the way it’s going to be. No horseback riding for you yet.”

“Oh, yeah? Why is that?”

As I brushed my hand down to her stomach, gently caressing, her deep sigh was all I needed. “As I said. I’m keeping both my babies safe.”

“Mmm… She has her daddy wrapped around her little finger.”

“Maybe… What? What did you say?” My throat tightened hearing her words.

Her laughter was even more rambunctious than before. “You heard me, he-man. Your little girl is going to be a handful. Just like her mama.”

“Oh, baby. I love you.” I was rattled to the core, my heart racing.

“You better,” she purred. “Or else.”

Laughing, I pulled her even closer and stared up at the mountains, once again able to take a deep breath. Home.

I’d found my home but not because of the walls and roof of the beautiful little ranch house or even because of the front porch now decorated with massive pots of beautiful flowers. It was because of the woman who’d stolen my heart while reminding me that life was precious.

My thoughts drifted to the day six boys had signed up to become Marines. We’d been eager to undertake an adventure, determined that we could make a difference.

Perhaps we had, each in our different ways, all six turned into rugged and dangerous men. We’d shared everything together, including a friendship that had transcended time and space.

As well as death.

And now there were five.

Heroes. Monsters.

Sinners.

And saints.

But above all, we were proud that we’d served our country as friends.

“Well, my wife to be, it’s time to get you back to the house,” I said before nipping her earlobe.

“Mmmm… What did you have in mind, big boy?”

As I held the brush in front of her, the slight groan pushing past her voluptuous lips made my cock twitch all over again.

Love.

Friendship.

And family.

There was nothing more precious. I was one blessed man.

Books of the Montana Bad Boys Series

Hawk

He’s a big, angry Marine, and I’m going to be sore when he’s done with me.

Hawk Travers is not a man to be trifled with. I learned that lesson in the hardest way possible, first with a painful, humiliating public spanking and then much more shamefully in private.

She came looking for trouble. She got a taste of my belt instead.

Bryce Myers pushed me too far and she ended up with her bottom welted. But as satisfying as it is to hear this feisty little reporter scream my name as I put her in her place, I get the feeling she isn’t going to stop snooping around no matter how well-used and sore I leave her cute backside.

She’s gotten herself in way over her head, but she’s mine now, and I protect what’s mine.

Scorpion

He didn’t ask if I like it rough. It wasn’t up to me.

I thought I could get away with pissing off a big, tough Marine. I ended up with my face planted in the sheets, my burning bottom raised high, and my hair held tightly in his fist as he took me long and hard and taught me the kind of shameful lesson only a man like Scorpion could teach.

She was begging for a taste of my belt. She got much more than that.

Getting so tipsy she thought she could be sassy with me in my own bar earned Caroline a spanking, but it was trying to make off with my truck that sealed the deal. She’ll feel my belt across her bare backside, then she’ll scream my name as she takes every single inch of me.

This naughty girl needs to be put in her place, and I’m going to enjoy every moment of it.

Mustang

I tried to tell him how to run his ranch. Then he took off his belt.

When I heard a rumor about his ranch, I
