my room so that I could shift back, but I heard Kaith stop his yelling all of a sudden, which was unlikely of him for no sure. A deep ferocious growl came to my ears right after, making it easier for me now to understand the sudden change in Kaith's behaviour.

Yes, Kazan might have made himself in too in his huge and terrifying wolf form, making Kaith completely stupefied, for now at least.

Kaith's P.O.V

I have never thought before that this kind of situation could be ever so frustrating and maybe beyond.

Why?

Well, I wanted to talk to Summer at this instant but I just could not. No, it was not at all that something inside me was stopping me from doing whatever I wanted to do. Instead, there was something else to prevent me from taking each step towards Summer.

Cause a big bad alpha was standing at guard in front of the closed-door of Summer's room and was growling every now and then whenever I tried to move from my spot even for a bit. As if he was all prepared to chew someone's head in just a second whoever dares to cross the invisible line that he made with his own huge inevitable presence and I did not want to lose my head for sure.

I could not understand why he was acting like this without any reason at all.

But at last, to my rescue, Summer opened her door in no time, giving me the opportunity to let go of the breath at last which I kept holding till now.

β€œWhat are you two doing?” She asked, looking both of us in some tensed up situation right now and I had nothing to say to her as I did not know the reason either.

β€œAsk him. Cause I don't know what he was trying to do by throwing all those threatening growls at me as if I had done some kind of crime of which I am totally unaware.” I yelled frustratingly but little did I know that my words would be suppressed again with another of his horrifying growl.

β€œStop it, Kazan. And you go inside and shift back. Hurry.” Thankfully, Summer made Kazan move from his place at last, and strangely she did not even have to say twice as he went inside without wasting any time like some obedient little body which he was definitely not a while ago...not in front of me at least.

β€œWere you with him last night, Summer? You should have informed me. Then I did not have to worry about you all night, thinking what happened to you all of a sudden.” I could not help but say cause I was super worried from last night indeed when I saw that she never returned to her home.

β€œI know, but my phone ran out of power last night. So I could not.” Came her answer as if it was nothing at all.

β€œAnd why are you here with him like this? You should not have...” I did not even complete whatever I had started, as I got interrupted by the ferocious voice of Kazan in between my words.

β€œAnd who are you to make decisions for her? And the most important thing...what the hell are you doing here early in the morning?” Kazan asked with a scowl on his face just when he came out of the room, wrapping only a towel around his waist.

β€œWhat do you mean? Of course, I live with her.” I even dared to say cause I just could not hold myself back to make him even more irritated than he made me a while ago.

But little did I know that I just risked my life without even knowing.

β€œWhat did you say?” Kazan came forward, with his hand which was already balled up into a fist while glaring me down furiously as if I was about to turn into ashes right here right now.

β€œKazan! Kaith! Stop whatever you two are trying to do.

And Kazan, there is nothing to be angry, cause Kaith lives here indeed but not all the time and he was always the one who stayed by my side in good and bad. He is my best friend, so you have nothing to worry about.

And Kaith, you stop provoking him. Will you?” Summer said, coming in-between both of us and saved me from my doom.

β€œAnd Kaith, please give him some of your clothes.” She uttered further.

β€œNO.”

β€œNO!!!” I shouted along with Kazan, surprisingly at the same time just when she finished her words. At least, I and this big bad wolf had agreed on one thing finally.

β€œWhy? Do you want to stay like this?” Summer said raising her brows at Kazan and just then another voice came from my room, making me all aware of what situation was waiting for us next, while the two in front of me stayed confused.

β€œWhat is happening here? Kaith?” Jenny came out of my room suddenly.

β€œGive me the clothes.” Said, Kazan and went inside Summer's room again ever so quickly.

And I did not need to wait any more second as I rushed inside my room as well, taking Jenny along with me, saying,

β€œYes, I am bringing it right now.”

I handed Summer the clothes in no time while she did not forget to show me her wicked smile as if I was caught red-handed, doing some kind of crime.

Tsk.

Anyways,

What to do.

I waited for Summer to return back to the sitting area while Jenny kept looking at me with a lot of questions written all over her face.

β€œSo, what's up?” Summer came back in no time with the same wicked grin on her face which was quite irritating for me right now.

β€œNothing. We will talk about it later.

But for now, the important thing for you to know is that you should not have stayed
