When anger takes you by the hand,
and leads
you down a path in this distant
land.
A hurtful place where words of pain do
live.
Promising the best punishment to
give.

Once you have thought what to say
you gladly send arrows coming my way.
At first this makes you feel mighty and
strong
telling yourself you’ve done nothing
wrong.
So now that you’ve stood your
ground,
you’re all by yourself with no one
around.
This wasted time to brood and stew
you say all your phrases yelled were true.
Now having been said it can’t be retracted.
Feelings of shame of how you have acted.

All I know is how great it would be
to know that you did it all for me,
out of love.
