hear the voice of this man, before any voice in the whole world.
Robust yet gentle, it beckons for my attention:
and now I understand why God gave men permission…
to speak in the sacred temples. And to preach the gospel of prophets;.
For any man that has a voice such as this, defies all logic.
I can’t focus on devilish installments, nor meditate
on evil intentions.
I can only hear his wishes…loving every word he
mentions.

"A Second Wish"
I failed to think before making my wish;
And now I am saddened because of this.
I wanted a sled for a fun-filled slope;
and what fun I had, uplifting my hopes.
The day was long and finally ended;
My return to the group home was not as splendid.
And now I lay me down to sleep, and how I miss…
the motherly love, the bedtime stories, the goodnight kiss.
Oh how I need that second wish;
the one that’s given by wizards of bliss.
I would think much more than I did before others;
I would wish so hard for a brand new mother.

"Dance of Nature"
Have you ever seen the performance of nature?
Leaves waltzing with wind
Trees trembling with delight
Fowl at play with chipmunks
The deer leap and nuzzle
Bunnies peek from burrows
Sparrows sing a song then the clouds begin to gather,thunder beats as drums
the buzz of honeybees
who have reaped much pollen;
the fox and the bear seek
a shelter for cover…
comes sprinkle of rains
comes lighting strike
squirrels leaping through trees
and step by step
the dance goes on.

"My Holiday Wallet" All through the year my wallet has
been steadfast and subservient to my needs;
my meals were bought, though budgeted
and my gasoline was purchased ,timely: though with greed.
My wallet is that of cow-hide leather
Sturdy, stoic, durable, and compacted when full;
I have to be careful around my kids,
and this easy with springs soft breeze and summers hefty pull.
But not so simple, later in the year.
No, not simple at all during times of holidays.
It becomes quite ill, one might say:
floppy, lazy, pouty, and limply, becomes my wallet; unlike Santa’s sleigh.

"The Source"
The human heart is very unique and mysterious in
all its ways. It is said that the brain commands it take action.
It is said that the brain receives life giving blood, in return.
Thus the balance of life continues, uninterrupted.
Undisturbed and undeterred, the cycle goes on.
It is said that the brain animates the body, and needs
no animator.
Could the scholars be wrong?
The human soul is so mysterious, and also complex,
in all its ways. Often said to be a hoax; our spiritual selves…
very much real.
Much more greater than flesh and bones; the soul is not
Matched. An animator, all its own.
It empowers the brain.
And this cycle too…goes on.

"Remembering Love"
Reminiscing on our love…remembering our times:
Remembering who we used to be- when we were fine.
We survived in a world where hatred prowls;
because of my fair skin and your dark, they scowl.
We survived the cold stares, from those that lack
intelligence;
so our origins are both different. But, this has no
relevance.
Our love was one of elegance- so graceful;
so sexy, so quenching, so tasteful.
In winter we snuggled close.
Keeping our bodies warm. Like coats.
Our sensualities and sexualities were brave;
their conditioning and their forbidding gaze…
were non-existent in our love affair.
And then their hatred(out of nowhere) was there.
It had found our weaknesses, and it had penetrated;
Their vicious lust, more powerful than our own,
was sated.
A bitter ending to a most heartbreaking game.
The love they took away, has left me insane.

"Untitled" You came into my life so unexpected, you came out of nowhere, or so it seemed
Seduced by your voice, enchanted by your words, filling my heart, my mind, and my soul sight unseen
You came into my life so quiet and calm; you slid into my bed without even a touch, so natural, and right
Was it fate; Destiny; a spell?
You opened a world of darkness, and love, a world of dreams, and nightmares- fantasies and realities, thought of but never spoken
You are to me a journey, a novel, a poem not yet finished, pages yet to be written, a future with endless possibilities
You came into my life so unexpected, you came out of nowhere, or so it seemed….
