Mom. Can you let go.? I can't breath..." She let go of me.
"Is that the dress you want?" I nodded. The only dress I've found.. I laughed a little. "Alright. I got the bridesmaid's dresses so were good to go." We went to buy the dresses then left. Once we got home we put the dresses in my mom's closet so they wouldn't get ruined. Xander wasn't back yet. I walked to my room and laughed on the bed. I moved my hand over my belly. The baby was growing now. It's been a month. I sighed. 8 more months to go. I felt tired all of a sudden. I closed my eyes for what seemed like 10 minutes but had only been 5 and I heard someone walk into my room. I opened my eyes and saw Xander. I quickly stood up and half ran over to him.
"What happened?!?!?!" I put my hand on his cheek then to his bloody nose. His face was all cut up.
"I ran into one of your exes." He sounded pissed.. and he looked pissed too. I was shocked though. I let out a gasp.
"Which one?" I started at him with my eyes wide.
"Shadow." He looked away. "Why didn't you tell me? Why-" I cut him off.
"You ran into Shadow?! What happened?!?! And what are you talking about?" His eyes looked darker than they normally are.
"We got into a fight. Why didn't you tell me you had sex with someone else? And in middle school." I was stunned. How did he know this..
"H... How do you know that?" I stuttered.
"He told me. Why didn't you tell me!?" I felt tears coming but kept them back.
"I forgot all about it till now. I was stupid back then.. I didn't know what I was doing.." I started explaining.
"Still! You never told me! He ran into me at the mall and realized who I was and started saying shit about you. He said that.. I told him to shut up and leave me alone but he wouldn't listen. We went outside and "talked" but ended up fighting. He punched me first." I saw a cut by his lip and it was bleeding.
"Babe, I'm sorry.. He used me. I guess that's why I forgot about it cause I put it behind me. Xander.. Xander! I really am sorry!" He started walking away shaking his head.
"Whatever." The tears fell.
"Xander! Please.." My voice cracked. He turned around and looked at me. He had hurt in his eyes but he was still pissed. He turned back around and walked into the bathroom. I let the tears keep falling and the memories came back:
"Hey, Ray-ray!" Shadow called my name. I turned around and smiled like a fool.
"Shadow!!!" I dropped my stuff and ran over and hugged him. He hugged me back then pulled away first.
"Wanna do something later?" He grinned.
"Yeah! What is it?!" I asked excitedly.
"A surprise. I'll come get you later." He kissed my forehead.
"Okay! I can't wait now!!" I yelled smiling.
"Haha, I know. I'll see you later, babe." He kissed me softly on the lips. "Bye." He smiled.
"Bye." I smiled back. He turned around and walked away to his house. I turned back, picked up my stuff and continued walking 4 more houses down to my house. I opened the door and walked in. I closed the door behind me and went up to my room to work on my homework. It felt like hours but my dad finally called me down for dinner. I ran into Crystal on the way out.
"Sorry." I said.
"It's okay. Come on." We went down the stairs into the kitchen. Mom and Dad were kissing when we got into the kitchen. "Eww, get a room!" We laughed.
"Crystal, were adults. What do you expect?" Mom said laughing.
"Alright now, let's eat." Dad said still laughing. We all sat down at the table and dished out our food. We all ate and soon we were done. There was a knock at the door.
"I got it!" I yelled. I quickly got up and practically ran to the door. I opened it and Shadow was leaning against the wall of the house. He looked up and smiled when he saw me.
"Hey, babe."
"Hey!" I grinned.
"Ready?" He asked.
"Yeah, wait let me tell my mom." I quickly ran back into the kitchen. "Mom! Shadow's here can I go for a walk with him? Please?" I smiled.
"Oh alright. Be back before dark." I smiled excitedly and hugged her then hugged dad.
"Don't do anything bad now." Dad teased.
"Dad! We won't!" I giggled.
"Alright, see ya later kiddo." He smiled.
"Bye!" I ran back to the door and quickly put on my shoes. "Now I'm ready." I giggled.
"Okay, let's go." I closed the door behind me and we walked on the sidewalk.
"So, what are we doing?!" I couldn't help but ask.
"Going somewhere." He winked. He grabbed my hand and held it. I smiled like a fool again. Finally we stopped in front of his house. I turned my head and looked at him.
"What are we doing at your house?" I asked.
"I just wanna talk to you in private. My parent's aren't home so it's all good." He unlocked the door then we walked in. He closed the door then held my hand again. "Come on." He gently pulled me and let me upstairs. We walked to the middle of the hallway and stopped in front of a door. He opened it and it was his room. We walked in. "Make yourself at home." I sat down on his bed and he smiled.. a smile I never seen before. He closed the door and then sat down beside me.
"So.. what's the surprise?!" I giggled.
"You'll see." At that moment, he put his hand on my cheek and kissed me. I didn't know what was going to happen but I went with it. I kissed him back and put my arms around his neck. I felt his tongue on my tongue. He played with my tongue for a minute then kissed down my neck. He gently pushed me back onto the bed and was on top of me. He took off his shirt and I stared at his bare chest. He had a scar going down his left side. I reached up to touch it but he grabbed the bottom of my shirt and started pulling it off. I sat up a little and let him take my shirt off completely. I heard his breath and his mouth was open. He stared at my breasts. I was fully grown at my age, most girls weren't.
"Wait.. do you have protection?" I asked.
"Yup." I nodded and with that I sat up a little again and took off my bra while he took off his pants and then mine. He stared at my breasts. "Damn.." He moved his hands over my breasts..
I came back into reality not wanting to finish that memory. I started crying more, realizing how stupid I was to not realize he used me.. just for sex. I walked to the bathroom and saw Xander was shirtless and in his boxers. The shower was running. He saw my in the mirror and still was pissed.
"Xander.." I sighed. "I'm sorry. I didn't realize how stupid I was back then. I didn't know he used me just for sex until my best friend told me a few days after.. I knew things seemed... strange after that day. I'm sorry I never told you. I forgot about it.. I... I.." I started balling. I closed my eyes and cried. I felt arms wrap around my waist.
"It's okay.. I can't stay pissed at you for forever. You didn't know what you were doing back then.. I understand. Please stop crying." He whispered in my ear. He pulled away and wiped my tears away. I opened my eyes and stared into his eyes. His face was still bleeding.
"Yo.. you're still bleeding."
"I know." I pushed him over to the toilet and made him sit down. I grabbed a towel and wet it then started gently cleaning off his face. His face was so cut up.. I gently wiped off the cut by his lip. He was staring at me. I looked from his lips to his eyes. He looked so.. calm now. I kissed him gently on the lips and he kissed me back. He put his arm around my waist and tried to pull my onto his lap. He succeeded and I sat on his lap facing him. He kissed me over and over again. I kissed him back every time. He put his hand on my belly and gently rubbed it. His tongue demanded entrance past my teeth. I opened my mouth wider and I felt his tongue on mine. Eventually, I pulled away.
"You should take your shower now." He nodded and I got off his lap. I left the bathroom and laid down on the bed. I felt tired right away and slowly fell asleep.

Chapter 21- Shadow?

It was Friday afternoon, no one was home. Mom was at work and Crystal was with her friends at the mall. Xander was also at work. I was sitting in the kitchen on my laptop when I heard a knock on the door. I got up and went to the front door, I opened it and gasped. Shadow was standing there, leaning up against the side of the house, just like when he was last here...
"Rayline.." He stood straight up and took a step towards me, like he was going to hug me. I stepped back.
"Shadow. What are you doing here?" I crossed my arms over my chest.
"I want you back. I realized that I was wrong. I shouldn't have used you. I really am sorry. Please take me back. I can't live without you." He took another step towards me and I took another step back. He was standing in the doorway now.
"No. I will not take you back. You used me, I will never forgive you for that. What were you thinking? That I wouldn't care? That I would just be with you for sex? No! I wasn't smart then. I should've known you would just use me. I didn't see the signs. I'm not as dumb as I use to be now. I'm happy with Xander. Leave me the hell alone and stay out of my life." I pushed him back and started closing the door, but he stopped me. He walked in and closed the door behind him.
"Please? Take me back... Please. I'm begging you. I need you. I want you. I love you." It looked like he mean't it, but I know he is just jealous that I'm with Xander. I rolled my eyes.
"Whatever. Your probably just jealous that I'm with someone who makes me happy. You don't love me, you never have. You only want me for sex. That's all you ever wanted. Go to a stripped bar and find a whore to do it with. That seems like something you would do. Now, leave me alone, seriously." I shook my head with disgust.
