She was tempted to just bolt if her legs would carry her. Didn’t know if she could stand to hear more. She didn’t realize she was crying until she could taste the salt of her tears.

An elderly couple was walking up the path in the cemetery. Amberleigh got to her feet quickly to avoid looking like a weirdo. But the movement caused her to feel dizzy. She had a lot to try and process and sort through. Though she’d heard enough for now. It was likely the billionaire would stop talking now that he wasn’t alone in the graveyard anyway.
She stumbled through the graves not even caring if he saw her or not. She had to get the fuck out her. Her vision was blurred and she wanted to scream. Grayson Godwin was dying. And worse yet, he was afflicted with a disease so terrible he would rather kill himself or have his friend do the deed, a disease that was passed onto him from his father. A horrible, fatal disease he could potentially pass on to his own potential, her child, Right now Amberleigh couldn’t decide what she wanted to do more, hug the billionaire or wrap her hands around his fucking throat!
