Quick a lie...wait, bitch mode Sea. You're better at lying if you're on bitch mode. "I have to do something tomorrow-"
"-Cancel it then, I'm more important."
Hard to pass through, at yeah, Luke? "It's really important also, my mom -er- made me."
"Ask her out of it, we're going on a date." Yeah...here's a thing, Dylan's making me go on a date. Sorry.
I sighed in annoyance, "Luke. I need to-" Stuck in lie, what to say?
"To?"
Only Carter, Dylan, and James were on my mind right now. Oh, Carter! "I need to babysit my mom's friend's kid."
Luke was still not buying it, kinda. "Ask someone to babysit that little brat." He crossed his arms again to show anger. "WE'RE. GOING. ON. A. DATE."
"I. NEED. TO. BABYSIT." I mocked Luke's same tone.
"Whatever." He said in a cold and harsh tone. "Tell me when I'm more important." The class bell rang, and the first time in my life. I loved the bell more than anything. Well, I'm in a hole right now.
Chapter 24 - Date Night
-Sea's Room-
"SEAAA!" A preppy and high voice was calling my name from downstairs. I ignored it and continued listing to music on Pandora. My other half of my mind was on my laptop. Basically, using my laptop to search hot models or actors. Or even watch this two hilarious twins on Youtube, a user called "JackGaps." This is how I usually spend my awesome and suppose to be 17 year old life. Just at home, listening to music, and living in a mansion full of guys.
Can't this get any better?! My door slammed open, revealing my one and only best friend, Heather. "Sea! You're deaf! I was calling your name for, like, forever."
Isn't this really hilarious? Heather hates anything that's girly or girls that talk, like preppy girls. Yet, she's the one that's always talking like that. "Heather. You're, the one that making me deaf!"
She made a puppy pout, "You don't have to be so mean..."
"Quick question," This question was on my mind lately, "who gave you sugar this morning?"
"Well... I made James give me candy just right now." James, look what you had done! "Sea, can I ask you a question now?"
I hate questions, including Heather questions. Which were mostly about one thing, boys. "Sure, spill."
Heather took a deep breathe. "Do you like James?"
"W-Wha...What?" I stutter, do I actually like James?
"Do. You. Like. James?" She repeated it again and more slowly.
There was a lump on my throat, "Of-Of course...not."
"PHEW!" Heather sighed and took a seat on my bed. "I thought it might be a problem, I think I like him..." She had her head on my carpet floor for a second.
I nodded my head, nothing else to say to Heather. "Sea, if you did like him...I would had giving up on James. Just for you, we're best friends and I won't let a guy be between us."
Heather likes James?! "When did you like him...?"
"Ah?" Her blue eyes were facing on me. sad blue eyes.. "Well, me and him were best friends were since at the age of 4. And then he moved, to the UK. He was only friend, until I met you at kindergarten. He remembers me...but forgot all the awesome times we had. I always thought him as like a brother, I just never knew I would fall for him."
"Oh..."
All of a sudden, her blue eyes glint with happiness. "Come'on get off your laptop, it's time to doll you up!"
I whined like a baby, "I hate 'dolling' up."
"Me too." Heather said quickly. "But it's almost time for your date with Dylan."
My nose scrunched with annoyance. "I hate dates...including if Dylan's in it."
She got up and started to pull on my right arm. "Come on!" Heather's a bit stronger than me, since I was a lazy bum. "Be happy it's not one of my set up dates for you!" Memories flooded with the times Heather set me up with a random dude. As in any type of boy, jocks, nerds, rockers. You name it, she'll set you up. Heather's basically "Miss Cupid" at our school.
"Ahhh, memories." I leaned back on my computer chair. "And no."
"SEA!" Heather grabbed on my pj top and tried to pull it off. "Don't make me force you to change!"
I wrestled her to let go off my top, it became a chick fight. Heather and I were already on the floor, fighting. The door opened again instead came James. "Please. Please tell me it isn't what it looks like!"
Heather got off of me and stood in front of James. Man, how can this dude not see the love glint in Heather's eyes? "I was trying to help her get ready for her date with Dylan..." Her voice was like innocent little girl who just stole a cookie. "She wouldn't get dress."
"I see..." His voice was shallow and sounded sad. "Have fun with your date." With that, James left me with the wanna help me, Heather.
Heather's eyes were down on the carpet again. "He didn't even noticed me..."
I got up from the floor and went over to pat on her back, "It's fine Heather, he's just confused." Yeah, confused why he likes me instead of her. I mean come on! Heather's better looking than me, plus, I'm annoying as heck! "If it makes you feel better...I'll let you dress me up." I made her my best shy smile, and causing her to smile back.
"Make-up?" She asked me.
I gave her 'Are you kidding me?' look. I hate make up. "Ok," Heather said in defense, "a little bit. Just mascara and lip stick."
I sighed a "Ok..."
"Sea?" A cute and tiny voice was calling my name. Carter was at the doors, standing next to Tyler.
"Yeah, Carter?"
He started to walk over to my side, reaching out two beautiful earrings. "Here's your earrings, Dylan told me to give it to you."
Tyler grinned and pulled out a dress, that was hiding behind his back. "And...Dylan bossed me to give this to you."
The dress was really stunning...It was a cherry red color and sleeve-less, kinda long though.
"Thanks...they're beautiful."
"Don't thank us." Tyler said, "Dylan's the one who bought it for you. We just annoyed him to actually buy them for you." His smile was bright and glowing like the moon. Are all the Mason brothers suppose to have shiny smiles? "Well, we better get going. You don't want me, nor, this little kid to see you naked."
He was so right!
Carter puppy pouted, "But I wanna see!"
Tyler lightly smack the back of Carter's head. "You're too young to see girls' naked, little dude."
"It's no fair! How come you and the guys can see girls naked but no-"
Tyler put his hand over Carter's mouth, rushing to get out of the room. "-Gotta go Sea!"
Heather was laughing as she was closing the door. "Well...that was a awkward moment."
I shrugged my arms, "Seems normal to me."
"Time to dress you up." God, please let me live.
---
"And...DONE!" Heather had spin my chair to face the mirror. Damn...was the only word on my mind. "I'm guessing I did a great job." She had a cocky smile on her face, "Since, you have your mouth opened like a fish. Now close it."
I did as told and closed my mouth. My hair was actually, good looking. My side bangs were braided into a crowd on the top of my hair. My loose ends of my black hair were in wavy curls. While the middle of my hair was still normal. My lips were cherry red as the same color of the dress. The dress was revealing my perfect shade of tan skin. I'll admit, Heather did a great job.
"Now, hurry up you'll be late!" She pushed me out of the doors, to the stairs. I was wearing 3" heels which made me a little bit taller. My '5 3 1/2" height was now a '5 6 1/2", yes, I'm not short anymore! All the guys were downstairs, waiting for me. One problem though, I can't walk in heels! I walked down the stairs slow and steady. My feet bailed on me on the second highest step. I was flying! I was flying! I don't want me to fly down the stairs though!
I'm drying...
NOPE!
"Caught yeah." I didn't notice what was happening until now, Dylan caught me. I was laying on his crest and he was on the titles. He had a sheepish grin, "Couldn't wait for me, huh?" Dylan looked, well, like a rich gentleman from the 80's or 20's. He was wearing a bold black tuxedo, with a white tie. Then I realize something else also, Dylan was hugging me protectively. He had his right arm on my back, while the other was covering my head.
"Thanks..."
Dylan got the both of us off the ground. "No prob." He had his hand reached out for me to grab, "Ready to go on a date, Miss Shore?"
My hands tremble as I took Dylan's hand. "Ready than you'll ever be, Mr. Mason." My eyes took a glance at James, who had a jealous scowl on his face. I feel so...so..like a heart breaker slut. To be honest, I never actually had that much boyfriends. In my entire life, I only had one single boyfriend. As me and Dylan were about to walk out there were shouts from everyone:
"AWHHH! My baby's all grown up!" I heard Heather shout. She had fake tears in her eyes and was holding onto James.
"You better use a condom, Dy's!"
"The man's got another chick!"
"Well," Jaxon started, "looks like we're going to have another person living in this house."
"A baby, bro." Jason and Jaxon were laughing their butt's out, while yelling out loud. "The couples going to have a baby~! I hope they're going to have twins."
Carter was jumping up and down, "Oh. Oh. Can I be a big brother for the baby then?"
Holy Cow. Those morons better shut up about the whole baby thing!
Dylan was whispering to me, "Sea hurry up. Or else those morons will say something else, worse." I did like he said and rushed out of the house. There were bright stars in the moonlight sky. Only the stars, the moon, and few streaks of clouds could only be seen. The air was okay, and the weather...perfect. "You okay?" Dylan closed the doors and started to walk were I stood.
