and Elaine." She watches as he swallows, hard and tries to find words. "That's what I thought." And she walks past him.
"Wait but babe-" He tries to say but she just ignores him and grabs K.C then they walk out of the door and into the nice cool air and, calling K.C's older brother get a ride home. Chapter 2

Dragon had watched as the girl he loved grabbed her friends hand and ran out and left him there. Why is everything going so freaking wrong? He wonders as he enters his hotel room. He sits on his bed and slips his pants off, ready for bed. He sighs. Maybe this was stupid. He thinks to himself, why would she like someone like me anyways? Suddenly there's a knock at his door.
"Now who could that be?" He mutters to himself as he gets up and pulls his pants back on then opens the door.
"Why hello brother." His older sister Mary says, smiling at him. He can see Maryjane and Mariah behind her and his two brothers Forrest and Trad. Mary is the oldest at twenty years old then there's Forrest who is second oldest at nineteen then Dragon is third at eighteen then the twins Maryjane and Trad at seventeen, then the youngest, Mariah who is sixteen.
"What are you guys doing here???" He asks, surprised. He had asked Mary to come and help him with a favor but he thought she'd left right afterwards and he didn't think they would ALL come.
"We decided we needed a new home," Forrest explains, holding his arms up and gesturing around. "So here we are!" He smiles.
"You-you guys are moving here????" Dragon gapes. No, he thinks, this can't be happening. This was supposed to be HIS adventure, and his alone. His family being here would ruin it all.
"Yes, little brother," Mary hisses. "Are you deaf? That's what Forrest like just said." She rolls her eyes, exasperated. Why did her brother have to be so clueless sometimes? He just continues to stare at them however and seems to ignore her thoughts.
"No." He finally says, firmly.
"Why not?" Trad whines. "It's not fair if YOU get all the fun!"
"Yeah!" Mariah agrees. "We want to have fun too!"
He glares at her. "I came here partly to get away from all of you guys!" He growls.
She puts her hands on her hips. "Well that's not a very nice thing to say. You should be happy to see us! We are your family, you know."
He snorts. "Some family."
"Hey!" She says, frowning at him. "We ARE!" She looks close to tears.
He sighs, hating when his sister starts crying. "Come here." He mutters, pulling her into a big bear hug. "I am glad to see you. Truly I am but..." He sighs and looks up at his older siblings. "Sometimes your brother needs some time to himself."
They nod. "We know that." Mary says, sighing. "And we respect that. We will stay out of your way, most of the time. But there's a reason why we came here. Not just because your here. We love you Dragon but we didn't come just for you. We came for ourselves too."
He sighs. "All right." He looks over at his brothers and says very slowly, "But no going after my girl."

It's still dark outside but Stacie doesn't care, she needs some air. She puts on some jogging pants and a long sleeve shirt and leaves the house. It's about 5 in the morning and the air is so nice. She sucks in a breath. This week has been chaotic, between seeing Dragon around everywhere and trying to avoid Johnny who keeps begging her for a second chance. Add on to that all her cheerleading practices it's nice to have this one moment to herself. Synthia got in a car crash on monday and it was really crazy since then. She jogs all the way to the park. Jogging felt kind of like she had been born to do this. Stacie looks up at the sky.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" She jumps at the voice coming from behind her. She knows that voice. She spins around and, bingo, Dragon.
"What are you doing here?" She breathes.
He raises an eyebrow. "Am I not allowed to be at a park?"
"Thats not what I meant." She says in a rush. Her face turns red. "I mean... Why are you always there? I turn around and there you are. Every corner I turn you seem to be there." She takes a step closer so that she's almost right up in his face, crossing her arms. "Tell me Dragon, why is that?"
He takes a step closer to her, filling in the gap. "Maybe I couldn't stand staying away from you."
Her heart starts beating really fast and she pulls away. "Whatever."
He smirks. "You really are quite a handful, aren't you?"
She shrugs. "I just don't like being lied to." She sits down on a bench near them.
