I drove to Demi’s and I fell onto
one knee.
‘’I’ve wanted to do this since the first day I met you. I can’t believe we’re back together, after
all this. Demetira Devonne Lovato... I love you with all my heart. Will you marry me?’’ I
started to shed a tear and while looked in shock, I thought she was going to say no. Well
obviously she said yes, or there wouldn’t be a story.
We took months and months to plan the wedding, it would be the best day ever. I knew in my
heart that she was the one for me. We tried for a child; it was amazing the best time of my
life. Nothing could go wrong with it. Until I found out that Chelsie had committed suicide. It
tore me apart; she was still my best friend. I was selected to say a speech. It took me days and
days until it finally came up to the day; I had a secure script for me to say. It was so
emotional; every time I read it I cried myself.
‘’Well Chelsie Locke was my best friend. No matter what she was always there for me, I may
have broken her heart but nothing separated the love of true best friends. We had so many
laughs, I couldn’t believe it when I found out you was gone’’ I started to cry. ‘’Nobody can
take you away from me Chelsie. I’m still your number 1 guy, no matter what; please
understand why I done this. You wasn’t happy anymore, I’m going to read out the letter she
left me through the post before she passed.’’ I manned up and knew this part would get me,
but I had to say it. ‘’Leon Barrlow, you are the only man for me; you made me laugh, cry,
hate and taught me to be able to love. You completed my life, don’t ever think I did this for
you, it was a decision based on my aspects in life. I loved you so much; no one would ever
change that. You deserve to be happy with Demi, she made you happy. I was there for you
that night when you was drunk and I’m going to be here for you whilst my 6foot under. I’ll
be waiting upstairs for you. My love.’’
Everyone started to cry, my Mum got up and hugged me, and whispered
‘’She’s happy now’’
into my ear. I knew she was right. I had to do what she wanted, and be happy with me and
Demi.

Chapter Five:
Holy Matrimony.

‘’You look gorgeous babe’’
I heard Dianne say to Demi. She was walking up the isle in a beautiful white dress. Never
seen someone so beautiful in my life. We said our ‘I do’ and we ran outside and jumped in
the car taking us straight to the airport to go to Hawaii for our honeymoon.
‘’Leon! Leon! Wake up!’’ my Mum shouted.
I opened my eyes to see my mum stood there stamping her foot. What an amazing dream. I
felt this hand crawl over my side.
Demi and Leon lived a good age, Then had 2 children, Justin and Aisha. They grew old and
had their own kids. Leon died when he was 72 years old. Demi passed one month later.
Love is the greatest emotion out of them all. It keeps us motivating; it makes us who we are.
Nobody and question this feelings and nobody can control it. It’s the greatest wonder of the
world and everybody can be a part of it.
