We spent the next few hours working out every detail to ensure Crimsion and Alexis's safety. We went through every possible scenerio and after a few hours I had to stop the meeting. "I have to go check on Crimsion" I said. Rapheal looked at me intently. "I can't go to long without making sure she is ok man, It is a part of my job" With a nod he allowed me to leave. The minute I stepped out of the room I breathed a sigh of relief. Rapheal was a great angel but he was intense. I guess it came from all the horror he has seen as the angel of healing. I made my way to the window of the building we were currently in. I opened the window and looked down. Rapheal and I had to have been on the 6th or 7th floor. I smiled and without hesitation I jumped. 

 

 

New Normal

I awoke to the sound of my baby crying. Groaning I glanced at the clock on the hospital wall. It was two am. As Iwoke up a bit more I relized that the nurses were supposed to be taking care of little Alexis. Then why was she crying? A bit more panicked now I got up and walked over to Alexis's bed. Nothing appeared to be out of the ordinary I gently picked Alexis up and walked around with her trying to sooth her. I smiled as I realized that this was my new life, being woken up in the middle of the night to care for my little girl. Tommorow her and I would get to return home. It was a whole lot earlier than expected due to her speedy recovery. I couldn't wait to finally begin my neew life with her. I stiffened as I heard someone at the door to my room. Quickly taking Alexis with me I ran to my bed and pretended to be asleep. The intruder slowly made their way to my bed. I opened my eyes enough just enough to see who was there. To my surprise and relief it was Sky. I quickly sat up. "Sky whats wrong?, What are you doing here I asked?" Startled her jumped and laughed. "I couldn't sleep he said. "I realized that I hadn't checked in on you today and I was a bit worried" I blushed. Sky had been visiting me every day for the past few weeks to "cheack up on me" as he put it. And if I was being completely honest I really didn't mind. "Its a little late" I said. He smiled and nodded. "I couldn't help myself" He replied. I blushed again. It was amzing how much this guy could make me smile. I knew I was falling for him but I was trying to resist it. I didn't want someone to come into Alexis's life and then leave. I stiffened as Sky touched my hand. He quickly pulled away. I shook my head "It's ok Sky, You can hold my hand" . I blushed after I realized what had just come out of my mouth. To my surprise he took my hand and brought it to his lips. I shivered from the contact. He lowered our hands but didn't let go of mine. We stayed that way for hours talking and plaing with baby Alexis when she woke up. I guess I must have fallen asleep bacause when I woke up the sun was streaming through the windows and Sky was gone. 

The Unveiling

I quickly jumped out of bed because today was the day my baby and I got to finally go home. I smile as I think about showing my baby off to the world. My school has agreed to let me take her to my classes as long as she doesn't scream all the time. It was a compromise so that I would continue my education after I had her. Plus I couldn't wait to see Sky. I grinned just thinking about him. He was such an amazing guy and for some insane reason he was interested in me. It blew my mind. Cordellia had come to pick me and Alexis up. I hadn't relly done much and I was exhausted.
