of the house, but not before I see him smirk and whisper, "I can't wait."

Hopping into Laura's cute little yellow jeep I prayed that the lord would kill that asshole or better yet... me.

Time to Relax

*Sigh*

"My life is literally falling apart!" I stated to Laura as I stared down at a little kelp crab scuttling across this rocky part of the beach.

Stretching out (kind of like a cat) on a large flat rock, I turned towards the sky and gazed up at the floating clouds. Laura and I are at our favorite spot. It's a small cove hidden from the rest of the beach by a wall of sharp jagged boulders. The only way to get in is through a little gap which is almost impossible to find amongst all the dangerous rocks. And even if someone did find it, they wouldn't dare stick around due to the fact that the pretty white sand was instantly replaced by pebbles. Pebbles that would hurt any explorers feet if not prepared. That's why it's perfect. Completely and utterly seperated from the rest of the world. Here, there was only the sound of waves crashing against the walls.

"Stop being such a drama queen... at least you know you'll be marrying a hunk right?" replied Laura as she too, turned to face the sky on a identical rock.

"Hunk? Seriously? Who says that anymore?" I mumble.

I had explained my whole arranged marriage dilemma to Laura, including a full describition of my new enemy. Only, unlike me, she likes the idea of marrying a hot 'bad boy'. Turning on her side so she could properly see me, Laura stuck out her tongue.

Rolling my eyes towards her silly childish display, I say, "First of all, put your tongue back into your mouth before I do it for you. And secondly, I'm supposed to be the immature one!"

"All I'm saying, is that at least they're forcing you to marry someone who's hot. I mean... just think how much worse it would be if he looked liked a homeless person!"

Sitting up, I glare at Laura. As much as I wanted to hate her right now, I just couldn't. Not only does her happy-go-lucky outlook on life prevent any negativity to form in my thoughts, but she also looks to innocent for me not to believe her. Even though I know better. You see, Laura is the type of girl you'll look at and then compare to a puppy. Her long and straight dark brown hair is paired with pale white skin, and baby doll eyes. This creates a lethal combination that can make even the meanest person melt. To enhance the effect, she also usually applies some sort of eye makeup on. As I've done so far for each person you've met, here's a picture of her.

"Yea, but I'd bet a homeless person would be nicer. The guys a total dick!"

"Have you had a full conversation with him yet?"

"W-well... not exactly. But that doesn't matter! He's obviously the rude cocky type!"

"Not all first impressions are correct, Angy. Who knows, maybe he's your soul mate. I think it's really harsh for you to judge someone you've just met under such circumstances. I mean you haven't even had a real conversation with the damn guy! Maybe he's like super sweet or something."

"Trust me," I said rolling my eyes again,"He is not sweet. Let alone the perfect guy for me!"

Laura just gave me a 'Mhm, well we'll see' look, and layed back down on the rock to continue tanning. Tired of not having someone on my side, I reached into my blue duffle bag sitting next to me and pulled out my phone. Time to text Reese and finally have someone to 'grouch out' with.

Angy>.< : Hey Reese, where are you? Laura and I are at The Place already. You were supposed to be here an hour ago.

R33S3^.^ : I'm so sorry Eve. Some -problems- came up and I forgot.

Angy>.< : Oh.......... Parents again?

R33S3^.^ : Yea.

Angy>.< : I'm sorry Re. :(

R33S3^.^ : This is the part where you usually invite me to stay the night...

Angy>.< : I really really really really really wish I could, Re... but I can't due to a problem.

R33S3^.^ : A problem?! My Eve has problems?!

Angy>.< : Yes. I'm human just like everyone else. -.-

R33S3^.^ : Little or big?

Angy>.< : What?

R33S3^.^ : Your problem. Is it little or big?

R33S3^.^ : Answer me!

Angy>.< : ....big?....

R33S3^.^ : That's it! I'm on my way. Just hang in there for fifteen minutes! Okay maybe ten if I speed a little.

Angy>.< : No Reese. I'm fine really. You don't have to come.

Angy>.< : Reese?

Angy>.< : Reese!!!

Sighing, I throw my phone back into my bag. It's futil to try and contact Reese now that he's made up his mind. He'll just go on ignoring my feeble attempts to dissuade him until he gets here. And now I just feel worse ontop of everything else knowing that even though he has his own problems, Reese is coming all the way over here to deal with mine too. UGH! Why does life have to be so difficult? Especially mine. Wait a minute... NO! STOP! Here I am thinking about myself again! Seriously, what is wrong with me? Reese is stuck with caring for his two drunken parents, and yet he doesn't feel sorry for himself. He goes around and takes care of everyone he knows. Even though he's never been properly taken care of himself...

Thinking to myself, I turn to Laura to tell her that Reese is coming, when I notice she's fallen asleep. She must have dozed off when I was texting. Oh well. I'll just let her sleep until he gets here. Mainly because Reese loves watching her sleep. Between you and me, Reese has been in love with Laura for three years now. I know right! The mans's never said anything about it, but it's quite obvious. I'm actually surprised Laura hasn't even notice. I mean everytime she's ever hanging out with a guy, Reese goes off to sulk by himself. This happens a lot, because Laura is what I'd call a 'man eater'. Kind of like a 'lady killer' but switched around if you know what I mean.

Anyways, while I wait for Reese to arrive I sit back and try to relax. I don't want to be high-strung and upset anymore. It is not fun, and I don't feel like my normal silly self. It's time to relax and enjoy today before I have to leave.
