a smile at him. “Yes, Let’s go, no need to worry miss.Hayes, I will have her back before 11” Cole promised as he led me out the door. “Where are we going?” I questioned but before he could reply, Cole started the engine up. “It’s a surprise” He sneered. Time passed by and we had been driving for so long that there was nothing to say. My heart stopped when we pulled up in front of a tall, desolate building.

Pac

Something wasn’t right, I could feel it as I answered my door to Jack Reynolds, An angel I it. “Pac, you need to come quick, summer is in trouble you need to save her” he urged. I thought for a long moment, surely he was joking. Then a sudden thought came to my attention. “Cole?” I asked scared to hear the reply. Jack gave me a look which I knew all too well. “Yes” I answered to my own question. “Well, what are we waiting for, let’s get going” I ordered as I ran towards Jack’s car. As he looked at me I knew what he was thinking. “Flight?” I asked smiling. “Flight!” He replied returning the smile. A pain shot down my back as my white wings overshadowed me. I jumped making a turn as I came to the roof. I would save summer I thought and she would have to believe me when she saw this. I was willing to do anything for her even if it meant risking my life.

Summer

“Let me go, please” I screamed as Cole tied me up. He just laughed at me. Who did he think he was? “I bet you wish your pretty little Pac was here to save you. Well he’s not, He doesn’t love you anymore so get over it sunshine” He sneered. Just then a shadow came over him. “Leave her alone” a familiar voice said. “Pac!” I gasped as he jumped onto Cole. I studied him carefully, with amazement. He really hadn’t been lying. Big, white wings covered his back the slits now invisible, Pac’s shirt was torn at the back from where his wings had surfaced. There was a long wait and Pac fell to the ground, and it looked like defeat. “This is why you don’t go on dates with strangers sum, and this is why you should trust me” Pac advised as he struck Cole with a surprise punch. “I give up” Cole cried as he landed on the floor. “You get your freedom and the girl for now, but I will finish her off. You know the rules Lionel, and they will not be broken, true love or not!” He stated and then flew off. I didn’t know what he meant but right now it didn’t matter to me, what mattered was that Pac and I were together. Untying me, he gave me a wink as he pulled me from the ground and we came into an embrace. We shared a long kiss, as if it was the first meeting for a thousand years. “I love you so much, I can’t believe I ever doubted you Pac” I mumbled pulling away to look into his deep blue eyes. “I love you too sum” Pac replied “I love you too.”

Pac

It was so relieving to have her in my arms again, to feel her warmth and most of all to hear her say the words I love you. Words I hadn’t heard for what seemed like forever. All the waiting had been worthwhile. “Hold on” I whispered, and as I said it summers grip became tighter. Taking off, I took in all the scenery of the main town below. This is what I had always dreamed of.

Summer

When I got home I noticed a letter at the door addressed to Miss. Summer hays. I lifted it up and tiptoed up to my room. As I sat on my bed, I tore open the awaiting letter. Inside it read:
To summer,
Don’t think you will get away with this, because you won’t. You will soon be taken down, I can promise that and after tonight you will suffer. So will Pac of course, he suffers when you do. Tell him not to show his face, he’ll regret it.
Cole
