a way to cure cancer.
"No, Stacy, they'll surely bug us more?" Ross replies, everyone else is watching their discussion,
"Ross, no! They'll leave you alone! Trust me, they just like going after hot single boys untill they either win 'em over and then break up with him or untill the boy finds someone else..." Stacy tellsRoss, each of us getting more and more interested in what she has to say. This is why she's our leader. She knows a lot about this kind of thing, a lot more than us that's for sure!
Before Ross could respond Stacy's big brother appears in his car, she frowns,
"Josh, you're early. Mom always gives me time to talk to my friends before she picks me up!" she remarks rather nastily,
"I don't care, I'm the only person available to pick you up, unless you want to walk? I'm not waitin'." He answers, equally as nastily.
Stacy sighs and storms to the car. She sits down in the passenger seat and waves bye to all of us. Liz and Emma start walking home together, after waving bye and hugging me. I look over at Ross,
"So, uh, I could message my mom and tell her I'll walk?" I ask him, so he doesn't have to walk alone, like he usually does,
"Nah, Liz, I think you should message her and tell her you're going to be really late home."
"Huh? Why would I do that?"
"I have an idea!"
"Uhh... Okay, sure..." I take my phone out of my back pocket and text my mom, telling her I'll be late home and not to worry or pick me up. I look up at Ross' gorgeous face,
"So, mind telling me why I just did that?" I enquire, looking at him. He chuckles, but doesn't respond. Then I feel his hand grab mine, they fit perfectly together. I can feel a blush slowly creeping along my face.
"I'll show you, later. I brought my car today." He grins and pulls me along to his car and opens the passenger side door. I sit down and buckle the seatbelt as he closes my door and walks to his side and gets in.

We arrived at a cute little part of the beach. Mostly empty because it's partly hidden. Ross gets out of his side, after turning off the engine, and he opens my door for me. I get out and leave my bag in the car. He takes my hand again and grins as a blush gradually forms on my face but he says nothing. He leads us to a picnic area that has, maybe, three couples lounging around. One couple has gone all out, placing candles around them and feeding each other strawberris. It's rather shaded here, because of a cliff blocking out most of the sunlit and a whole lot of trees providing cover. Ross sits down and pats the ground in front of him, I smile and sit down too. He pulls out a few food things from his school bag, I've learned not to question him though so I make no comments on why he would have picnic food in his bag. He grins, seeing my face and tries to explain,
"I've had this planned for a while... Just never had the courage to take you. So, uh, I have food in here everyday, in case I decide to actually get you here. Oh but don't worry, I make sure it's still fresh! It's not been sitting in there for months or anything. I made sure, or else it would smell funny and I kinda don't want that. It would also spoil this and thn I would die and none of us would, probably, want that. Soo, uhm, yeah..." he stops, realising he was rambling and I giggle as he makes an 'I'm so stupid' face. He mostly brought fruit but there's marshmallows and Nutella, so I'm happy. He laughs when I notice the Nutella and slides the jar over,
"I mostly brought it for you. Eat it all if you wish."
"No! You need to eat some, Ross. It's absolutely delicous..."
"I don't like it so much... It's too rich and stuff."
"You're hopeless!" Then I pick up the jar and dip a marshmallow in it, once it's fully coated I fling it at him and laugh as it sticks to his cheek. He leaves it there and grabs a strawberry, covering it also in Nutella and rubbing it along my forehead. I fakely gasp and 'glare' at him. He laughs and shrugs as if it's no big deal. I grin and stick a few more marshmallows around his face, while he covers my face in Nutella like some fake girl's foundation. I manage to also cover his face in the Nutella but with added white, large marshmallows. We laugh and once we stop laughing we take deep breaths, look at each other and burst into more laughter. The couples around us watch as if we're children who need to be disipined, so we stop and actually finish the picnic.

After we are both full Ross clears up all the remaining food and packs it all away quickly. I sit back and watch so I don't get in the way, it's so much quicker just letting him do it his way. Once it's all away he stands up and offers me a hand in getting me up. I happily take it but after I'm standing he doesn't let go. He leads me back to his car and, once again, opens the door for me. Once I'm in and he has climbed into his seat and has the engine on he looks at me, before heading out of the beach parking lot,
"You had fun, right? It wasn't too much?" He asks, a hint of worry in his voice. I shake my head,
"Of course I had fun, it was amazing!" I respond, smiling as his face turns from one full of worry into a happy, smiling one.
"That's great! So, uhm, I wanted to ask you something..." His smiles falters saying this and his face turns worried again,
"Yeah?" I ask, unsure what else to say but really wanting to get that smile back on his face,
"Would you... Do me the honours of being your boyfriend?" I hear his voice crack a little and have to contain my laughter that this was what got him so worked up, when other - slightly more normal things- don't,
"Ross, of course! I would love yo... Although, so long as it means I can be your girlfriend, because otherwise it would be awkward..."
He smiles and laughs after I shut up,
"Yes, yes, I guess that would work! I kinda can't believe said yes!" he tells me,
"Puh-lease! I'm not that

retarded!" I assure him as he drives, finally, out of the beach and takes me home.
