I made it inside though and threw my bags in a corner before picking them up again and placing them into my walk in closet. Spotting my bathing suit, I suddenly had the urge to swim. It may help to get rid of all this stress, I thought to myself, taking down a dark blue and white bikini, then grabbed a pair of white short shorts that I bought last week, then made my way to our inside pool, on the lower level of the house.
I took a few strokes back and forth, then a few dives off the plank. I was in a better mood than I was in earlier and decided to make the most of it. Picking up my phone I dialed Leya's number and placed the phone to my ears.
"Hey Le, I got a bit bored ad felt like talking. Wanna talk?" I asked at the end.
"And pigs don't fly." She responded sarcastically. I laughed with her and we began going through the day.
We laughed at the funny things we saw and shared the latest gossip we heard. We may see each other for the entire day but always still call at the end just to talk until one of us had to go.
"So, are you still being tutored? Or did your parents change their minds?"
"Oh crap!" I groaned "I totally forgot. Mom and dad aren't here, but she would kill me if I didn't do the hospitality thing that she think is still important with Vincent or any one of you guys coming over." I sighed and rolled my eyes.
"Oh. You ok?"
"Yeah I'll be fine. I got to go."
"Ok see ya tomorrow. Or better yet call me when you're done."
Once we hung up, I ran up the stairs leading to the area of the house and then into the kitchen. I began rummaging through the cupboards and the fridge to find all that I needed to make a decent snack for two.
"Ok lets see, some tortilla chips, jar of dip, sodas...." I checked the things I had gathered, off on my fingers.
Slipping my iPod into the dock, I turned the musicon and up. I danced to the salsa rhythm of the song, while I worked. I was so busy putting the food together that I really didn't hear anyone entered the house. It wasn't until I turned to place the bowls of items on to the kitchen island that I saw Vincent leaning against the door watching me, with a small smile on his face.
"How long have you been standing there?" I squeaked. I almost dropped the bowls in fright.
"Oh, long enough." Was all he said giving my body a thorough exploration with his eyes. His eyes brighten with approval and I suddenly felt naked.
"Stop doing that!" I gasped huskily. I almost didn't recognize my voice.
"Stop doing what?"
"You what I'm talking about."
"In fact, no I don't. Enlighten me." he smiled amusingly.
"Forget it." I sighed more from annoyance of self than I was annoyed by him.

Vincent's POV
"WOW" I whispered at the sight of Kristal dancing in the kitchen. She looked really sexy in her bikini suit. I was having a real hard time moving, for fear that she might see me and stop, also the tent in my pants was going to be an embarrassing sight.
She continued to do her thing, whipping up food for the both of us I guess. There was so much food I doubt that we would finish it or maybe I would. She grabbed the bowls and started to turn around. I tried to move away and then to re-enter as if I'd just came but my feet wouldn't listen, instead I leaned against the door frame.
"How long have you been standing there?"she squeaked obviously frightened
"Oh, long enough." I said checking her out from her head to her feet. I totally loved this look, I thought.
"Stop doing that!" she gasped.
"Stop doing what?" I asked innocently. I couldn't help myself. From the very first time that I saw her in a bathing suit when we were twelve I was a goner. It as like I was asleep and now I'm wide awake. I had always thought she looked funny looking but something happened. I guess she had finally grown into her skin, a very soft and creamy skin. But I never had the courage to tell her how I felt. Instead I kept teasing her because I thought she looked cute when she got upset and she would set her mouth in a little pout that I thought made them look even more kissable.
"You know what I'm talking about."
"In fact, no I don't. Enlighten me." I couldn't help the smile on my face, for she was doing that little pout that made want to seriously kiss her. I wanted her to say what I was doing out loud, for maybe if she said it maybe I won't have to say how I feel, for she would have seen it and said it loud for her to hear it. But instead she frowned and pouted just a little more and remained silent for awhile.
"Forget it." she sighed at last as if annoyed, and she went back to what she was doing and I knew this was the end of this conversation.
I sighed softly in my frustration "I really gotta man up and tell her how I feel." I mumbled to myself.
"What did you say?" Kristal asked looking a bit flushed and a little surprised as if she heard.
"Nothing." I said and I felt my own cheeks grew warm.
Great! Smooth move Vin. You got your chance twice within a few minutes and you just had to blow it. On top of tha I blush. I sighed again and walked over to the counter and gathered a bowl of chips and another with the dip.
" Lets go study."

The house was still quiet and the atmosphere a little awkward but we were getting along fine enough. Kristal had somehow been very co-operative and we there hadn't been so much as a fuss. A few times as we read our history book I stopped her to explain what was there. I had a pop quiz sheet that Mr. Leeward had given me, which her head was now bent over.
I continued to read to keep myself occupied. A few times I sneaked a glance at her and others I found myself staring.
"Will you stop staring at me. Its annoying and I can't concentrate properly if you continue to." She snapped without looking up.
I sighed and looked down into the book once again. But not long I sneaked another peak at the through the corner of my eyes. Her fiery hair tucked behind her ear as she concentrated on the task. She's beautiful, like a viking princess I thought.
"Finished." She said taking me from my thoughts.
"Good. We can look these over tomorrow. I think we've done enough work for tonight. We can discuss anything that you weren't sure of as well." I smiled then, hoping to lighten the atmosphere just a little more. And then for the first time that I could remember, she smile at me.
"Wow." I whispered. "Do you know how beautiful you are? I think this is the very first time you've ever smiled at me and I like it."
"And I like it when you're not being annoying."
I couldn't help the smile that came across my face then. I wished that I could capture this moment and store it, but for now I would look for as long as possible. Without even thinking I reached out my hand to tuck a stand of stray hair behind her ear. My fingers brushed against her cheek in the process and it was as soft as butter milk.
I looked up then into her eyes and caught the confusion written all over her face. The side of my mouth twitched up into a lopsided smiled.

Kristal"s POV
What was he doing to me? I thought as my heart raced. His fingers brushed my cheeks once more and I thought I would start hyperventilating. I had started to have a secret crush on Vincent when we turned thirteen. He had been away for the summer and when he'd returned, he looked more mature, HOT would be the word, but I just couldn't tell Leya about it. We had sworn to have nothing to do with them. But since then Leya had called a truce with both of the guys who did their best to lay off.
Countless times Leya had begged me to do the same since, but I stubbornly refused. How could I be attracted to someone like this?
His thumb strayed to my lower lip which until that moment I hadn't realized that I was biting.
"You're gonna cause that lip to bleed eventually if you don't stop chewing at it." He used his thumb to remove my lip from the death grip of my teeth. "Now it's all red." he smooth his finger over the tender area and I felt tingle play along my spine.
"It's the first you've ever shown and sign of having any other emotion other than anger or disgust. I like it." I was a bit surprised that he noticed anything about me to even realize this. "Or maybe that was always what you want me to see."As if not comfortable with what his finger had done, he leaned in.
I was too taken aback by all that was happening in that moment to even stop him. Then at last minute I didn't want to. I felt the whisper of a kiss brushed my lips before he was pulling away. No! I wanted to scream and my body acted on its own accord as I grabbed hold of his shirt to pull him back towards me and with more our lips met once again.
"Krissy Pooh!" I heard the sound of my brother and the sound of door closing. I quickly pushed Vincent away. I couldn't look him in the eyes. How could I do such a thing?
"I'm in the living room !" I shouted back trying to gather my books.
Just then Kristopher rounded the corner, and I couldn't stop my excitement at seeing him. Though sometimes we fight, we could not go too long without seeing or talking each other. Now that he was off at college we would spend hours on the phone. And he would come home on weekends but its been two weeks since he's been home.
"Where were you last weekend?" I demanded, placing my hands on my hips.
"Will you give me a break? I do have a life you know." He replies before dropping himself onto the couch next to Vincent who apparently was staring at my bum.
Kris was now staring at him as if wondering what he was staring at, until he followed the part of his eyes. And when his eyes saw where he smiled.
"Heey!! Vincent! What's happening?"
Breaking out of his trance he turned and stared at my brother for awhile as if slowing realizing that we weren't alone in the room. "Hey. We - er - ah - um - studying some - um- history. We just finished so I best be going." And with that he
