of the haze that wasn't neccesserily sleep.

" Izzy still hasn't come out of her room. GET UP!!!"he yelled the last part.I sat there a second, confused.

" why? dont you have a key?" he shook his head.

" dad took it. he said that if i went in there, he was ripping my head off. common. we have to break the door. I jumped up and fallowed him to the door.

" on Three, ok?" he said, closing a closet door so that he could brace himself agaisnt it. I nodded.

" ONe, Two, Three." he siad, and we smashed into the door. we both looked around, bewildered.

and then I threw up.

blood was EVERYWHERE. on hte walls, on the bed, even on the window. but that wasn't what made me puke.

it was Izzy. she was naked, laying on the carpet in a rapidly growing pool of blood. she was unconcious, for now. Phillip hissed, lurching farther into the room. he scanned it, then found what he was looking for and jumped into a corner of the room, picking up a sickly shining gun. it took me a second to put it together, and then I was yelling. schreeching. not really saying anything. there was nothing to say.

" Derrek! dammit! give me a phone!" he called, then punched me. I stumbled back, suprised.

" your goingto wake her up!" he hissed. but it was too late.

because that was when the screaming started.

" he WHAT!?" I howled, slamming my fists into the wall. my mom put a restraining hand on my arm, but I shook it off. the doctor gulped slightly, but continued.

" shes still in critical condition. IF she lives then we have a chance at maybe repairing some of the internal damage. but she still has to live. and shes never having kids again. I'm sorry." then he left hurriedly. Jonathan was by my side instantly, pulling me and literally throwing me into a chair. i tried to get up, and phillip, impatient and as growly as me, dug his nails into my shoulder, stilling me.

" What are we going to do?" my mom said softly, tears in her eyes. dad held his arms out to her and she burried her face in his shoulder. i sank back in the chair.

" Have they found your dad yet?" I asked Phillip. he shook his head grimly. I growled, and Jonathan hesitated before ducking into the hallway. he was back a few minutes later, pulling me to my feet.

" common." i pulled back, but he pulled me harder and yanked me out into the hallway. we went down a few levels and then he pushed me gently into a room. i sucked in a sharp breath before almost choking.

" misery..." i trailed off.

she looked better, if you compared her to before. her bruises were uglier, but she wasnt covereed in blood anymore. she had alot of machines attached to her, and she was breathing shallowly. i hesitated, and then sat next to her, gingerly taking her hand.

" my God..." Jonathan said, coming in as well. he stood just behind me.
