It was past midnight, but I could hardly get some sleep โ every time I tried to close my eyes, a lot of thoughts enter my mind. I tried my best to find some peace of mind by shaking the thoughts away, but they just wouldnโt stop!ย
So, I ended up fetching a glass of warm milk for myself. I did not bother to turn the lights on because I did not want to wake anyone up.ย ย
I carefully took a clean glass from the cupboard and walked my way to open the fridge and get some milk. The whole kitchen was peaceful, and the only sound that I could hear was the sound of milk being poured into my glass.ย ย
After filling my glass, I returned the milk carton back in the fridge before I carefully pulled a chair for myself to sit in as I slowly began to drink the milk to calm my thoughts down. Then when I finished the milk, I washed the glass and walked my way back to my room to get some sleep.ย

โPlease take a seat, Mr. Romanov.โ Kassie smiled as she stood up from her swivel chair and walked to sit on the single sofa to entertain her guest. โShall I ask my assistant to buy you some coffee?โ She offered.ย
โDonโt bother,โ Felix replied. โI just came here to talk to you about something.โ He added before he made himself comfortable to sit on the mini sofa.ย
โWhat brought you here, Mr. Romanov?โ She asked. โDoes it perhaps have something to do with my friend?โย
