Jeff was feeling good by the time we were released from questioning but we decided to have Doctor Carlisle look at him to make sure he was back to normal. Doctor Carlisle had finally gotten the lab results of the two pellets that had been removed. They were identical computerized switches. Now we knew the reason for those switches. They were an astonishing new technology that activates one set of sensory information for another in the brain.
When the anxiety of the individual was at a higher than normal level, that switch would activate, causing the optic nerve to shut down. The main reason for the intense training of new-hires was to keep appointments on time. The old man put fear in your mind if you missed or were late for them. The penalties for doing so were devastating that fear created the anxiety that enabled the switch inside the pellet to flip, causing the scenario that I experienced to happen.
This whole, time restraint thing was created to enable Rhortec to enforce contracts that would soon take over new companies. I would still be in the dark if we wouldnβt have worked so hard to find the answers.
This plan was very ingenious, no doubt, created by Gustav, who, was later found to be Willhelm Rhoremβs brother.
Just as we thought, the case was turned over to the Federal Trade Commission and they, with the help from our information, found the other companies that Rhorem had stolen. Thank God we were out of it and we were no longer in danger. Frank was apprehended and tried for murder.
Jeff was my best man when Judy and I got married. We hired Alphonso to drive our limousine and Bill Foster had me put together a time management program for Baetacom. I made sure that that all things were completed in a timely manner; this, in turn, made our profits soar.
