bent down and was praying to God to turn a blind eye and concede him of what he has done.

He took the shovel and buried his mother to pay his last regards. It was so heart breaking to loose a single parent, when you don't know whether the other is alive or dead. He was quiet and he noticed that they only attacked at sun set and on shadowed spaces.

They leaved the area and Jake was still thinking about his mother and her last goodbyes, looking at her pictures. For once Jenny could get hold of Jake. She was crying and asked to be rescued by him. Russ was driving and thinking about his family too. He told Jake that he needed to check if his mother and brother were still alive.

“Jenny where are you!, are you aware of the out-break?”, asked Jake breathing fast.

“Yes I know, it started here at work”, Jenny crying. “I'm coming right there OK hang in there I'm coming”, Jake said. “Dudes we're here wait for me I'm coming right now”,Russ said opening the door and running to the house.

He found his mother bound up and Jake entered and he couldn't bear to see this. His friend's mother was despoiled and brother were left to be eaten alive. He was stunned by this accident and told him to be strong they will pass this, everything will be fine. Jake thought that this could be someone they knew and maybe they troubled them some how and this was their retaliation. They told themselves that they will find the doers and punish them.

Russ was furious about this and wanted to hunt down the people who did this but they weren’t strong enough to deal with them.

They decided to find a place to kill zombies so that they can be strong. They made their weapons, Jake took his combat kit and his baseball bat. Russ took a tom-bur at the back of the car. Johnson took two extended knives and role-played them as swords. Jake wasn't aware about Johnson's family and he told him they were out of the country, so they were safe.

They were all infected with the virus but their immune system was boosted by training. They decided to find some ammunition so that they can be able to protect themselves. Jake remembered something he's been doing the past day that he read from a Japanese Manga, a technique that concentrates on your body system boosting your chacra and power over your body.

He told his friends that it might help and they thought that he was joking. His mind kept on thinking about Jenny, his mother and told himself that he can't loose another woman who just got the chance to bond with him.

They went to find ammunition and thought about the Harare police station. They got in the car and Russ was living near from Jake's house.

They took the M45 Walter Sisulu road and when they reached the Kuyasa Library their car broke.

They saw some cars parked from the parking lot and decided to take one but his friends wanted to have their own cars. The location was shadowed but they tip-toed to the cars and they head a train stops and releasing a bunch of zombies.

They saw their classmates, Mihlali, Sandile, Lukho, Khulasande, Liyema, also George and others, they realised that George was the start of dooming his classmates. They were eaten alive but Phiwo was still breathing, running for her life. They called her and the zombies just ran to them as well. Phiwo reached them and they rushed inside the library forgetting the cars. They rushed and pushing back the door. The zombies were scratching the door hoping to ravage them to death. But they tried their best to hold them off. They pulled the heavy chairs and balanced them to the door. The zombies had no power against the chairs but Jake and his friends were not concious about their abilities, if the zombies don’t succeed they use their heads.

They broke the window on the doors but they couldn’t get inside. Jake, Russ, Johnson and Phiwo calmed themselves. Jake went upstairs to check if there’s still electricity, fortunately the computers still worked and he tried to find directions to Jenny's workplace.

Downstairs Johnson and Russ were talking to Phiwo. She was so scared that she was even shaking and Russ tried to comfort her.

She said, “George changed and became one of those things, Jake was right about him, he almost killed us all and how did he know anyway?”, she asked sobbing and while wiping her tears thinking about her friends Afika and Siyamthanda.

“I'm sorry to hear that, Jake and I were quiet zombie movie fans and we never thought that it might actually happen”, said Johnson. Russ was comforting Phiwo. Jake came down and went to them.

“There’s this lady I met one night and as we were talking she unintentionally told me about her occupation issues, I knew that this was classified information but she was driven by stress. She told me that they received a stone from a planet called ‘X’ something and they examined the stone and then when she came to my school, the outbreak started at her work leading to our school that day. Now she's locked there and I got to help her”, said Jake and was so sad after that thinking about Jenny and how was she coping.

“Do you love this lovely lady that you want to risk your life for?”,asked Phiwo. Jake didn’t answer her but he looked away and thinking what Phiwo just said and asked himself that, was it that love drives him to her, love can make you do dicey things just to hold that extraordinary individual in your arms again and hear her laughter in your ears. He finally accomplished that the way he talked with her and he cares for her and didn't want bad things to happen to her. And finally realised that it was love that drives him crazy about her. His mind was all it thought of, his heart was missing her. She was his last family left and didn’t want to loose her, he had lost enough.

It was night time and they slept at the library's staff room.

In the morning the zombies disappeared and everyone woke. They didn’t find Jake and they thought that he abandoned them because he was so lovesick last night. Jake was in the staff kitchen making breakfast, he made them the eggs he found and made himself a cup of coffee. After eating they took some of the food and put it in one of the cars they will take. Johnson took the puppies and fed the long-life milk.

They took the car and purred all their stash inside and Jake drove out while the zombies were hiding in the shadows. Johnson and Russ were wondering whether she will stay with them for how long and asked Jake. He thought about it and new that she will be a headache to them. But were would she go and she had no one left probably her family died by the time of the out break. At this time she was listening to what they were saying and pretended to be asleep.

They took the M45 road, Tambo road and went on the four way. Taking the bridge on top of Walter Sisulu road.

“What are we doing here guys are we here to report something?”, Phiwo asked.

“No, we're here for weapons”, said Russ. “Weapons for what are we going to kill people because if we will I'm not going to”, said Phiwo.

“Then how are we going to protect ourselves?”, Jake asking Phiwo.

When they entered, death was smelling and made them expectorate. They thought that it was their lucky day. But muteness was dicey, it could be a trap, Jake informed them and that they should stay cautious. They entered the building and it was dark inside, the lights were out. But they were able to see with the phone's flash-light. They went in the cellar and opened the door. Some of the police were lying dead on the groung, few were departed. But they found what they came for. They were there in boxes and everyone took his best-loved weapons. They were like in a movie selecting their weapons. It was exhilarating and fun.

But the dead corpse woken up, “AHHHHHH! guys behind us, these creepy things are waking up, HOW?”, screamed Phiwo. But unfortunately for the corpses, Jake and his friend were alarmed and they shot at them. At first they missed their targets and got better and better as they kept on shooting. They reloaded their guns and took some for just in case. “I don’t want a gun Jake will protect me, right Jake?”, asked Phiwo aligning her self to Jake. “Look, let’s get one thing straight here, I’m not your boyfriend so get the hell off me!, there are people who really need my protection but not you I’m not going to risk my life for you, ask Russ he'll protect you”, said Jake.

“You mean your girlfriend?”, asked Phiwo. “Don’t get under my skin you don’t know what lies there, OK”, said Jake making himself clear.

“Where do we drop you anyway?”,asked Jake. Phiwo didn’t answer and Jake stopped and looked at her waiting for a response, “I don’t know OK, I lost my family and friends you're all I have guys”, wiping her tears. “Don’t cry you're not the only one who lost a family, I lost my mom and I’m not crying”, said Jake.

“I lost my mom too and brother and I’m not crying either”, said Russ trying to comfort her. “What about you Johnson?”, she asked.

“None of your concern”  said Johnson.

Started the car and left.

 ALTERATION BROUGHT BY DESTINY

The zombie out-break overpowered the police forces and increased the number of thugs and crime money had no value, trading with things you have kicked in and took over money. The prisoners were released from the prisons. The police forces were almost wiped out clean and most of the town and malls were colonised by gang members. They took advantage of this occurrence. Shop-rite, Khayelitsha mall and all other shopping malls were occupied because the thugs didn’t want to starve.

The Military tried countless time but gave up instead their soldiers were consumed and eaten in battle. They got scared for their lives and forgotten the pledge they secured, to protect this country no matter what. Exonerated women and children were victims of this occurrence.

Jake drove to a relaxing place so that they can practise and parked the car. All got out, the place was so quiet and peaceful,, and also a secrete of his own. He liked to do some yoga there and loved the view of the sun set.

It was on top of the hill, one of the Monwabisi hills. The air was astonishing and they sat down and telling him that this silly idea of his won't work. It was just a lie that he read, there was no such thing. He just sat down and flexed his legs.

For a moment he struggled to feel change and told them to also sit down, flexure their legs and clutch hands but Phiwo didn’t do it she just went in the car and Jake didn’t plead her. This was now a unique technique that he just newly formed right now. He had no persuasion whether it would work or not but he trusted in fate.

They felt a tingling esthesis and all of them opened their eyes and were dismayed of what just happened. Jake told them not to get carried away soon, it was the beginning of change that they formed. They meditated for about ten hours and till sun set. Phiwo watched inside the car their bodies gloomed as the their bodies were pleading the virus to be controlled and to be able to take the advantage. She was amused by Jake, because she never talked to Jake at school and
