I sighed and combed my hand through my hair. How will I ever get it down from there
My parents, who hate how I treat my belongings, will surely kill me when they see it.
Josie and Carter stood up and started to walk away. Only Josie was being dragged since she
wasnβt able to walk alone after being too intoxicated. ββHey! Where are you going?!?ββ I yelled. ββGot homework to do.ββ Carter yelled. ββ Aren't you going to help me get it downββ. I asked. ββNope!ββ Josie slurped as they got in their car, gave me a grin and speed of.
Great friend, I thought and masaged my forehead. Before rolling my head and walking toward the tree. I put my hand on the tree stump, feeling the hard bark under my hands, and started climbing.
I reached towards the next branch with my hand but missed. I panicked and felt my hold losining. My hand started sweating and started wobbling. I reached up and got the next branch, just as my hand slipped. I made it to the top without further incident.
The door was still open after I jumped off, so I climbed in letting go of the branch. The car was swinging a little bit in the wind. I put my hands on the wheel, pressed down on the gas pedal hoping I wouldn't die and started driving backwards.
At first the car wouldnβt move. Then with a big gush of wind, the car moved forwards. It flew through the air until it crashed on top of another hill. Then it rolled down the hill, past a playground, where I heard lots of kids screaming. Then past an ice cream vender, who dropped his ice cream cone. Finally it stopped. I heard cries and a siren. I slowly tried to move my neck just to feel excruciating pain. I tried again fighting my pain, when I succeeded, all I saw was the the crownβs of the two trees. Both swaying in the wind. Before everything went black.
