threw open his arms for a hug.
"What? No hug for your husband?" he asked. My mom cringed at the word 'husband'. "No. I had just washed this morning. I don't want to be-" she looked at my dad- "contaminated." I bit back a laugh. I have to admit, that rose my spirits up a bit.
"Mom," I said when we were out of the house. "When will you divorce him?" she walked ins ilence for a few moments. "Soon. Very soon." she replied. Her voice sounded cold. It was weird.
I opened the car door and stepped inside. My mom opened her side of the car and shut it when inside as well.
